Wow it is surprising the college football yearbooks are dribbling in already. Thanks for the heads up Matt. I only bought one last year which is the most comprehensive, Phil Steele. Two draw backs though. It is the most expensive and it comes out later than the other publications.

But as we look for the Great White Hope I think the names above at least gives us some hope, albeit a tad miniscule.

Including the intriguing young Ethan Bonner mentioned above I have seen both the impressive Riley Moss and Johnny Durham in some action last year. We need them to settle into a starting role the sooner the better.

Andrew Bird is a new name. Fejedelem looked good to me but FS is the next best thing. Parker of Texas Tech? I still haven't figured out what position he played and for some reason every time I turned on a TT game he wasn't on the field. I must have just missed him all year. But he should be out there a lot this season.

[Oops I just noticed this conservation is in the wrong thread.]

White Lightning I appreciate the kind words. I think I would rather be a scout or recruiter though to actually give some of these guys a fair shot. I do enjoy the research and finding these kids Hopefully lurkers will watch and see for their own eyes these kids are getting shafted on by the system.

Connor O'Toole has picked up some big time offers lately from LSU, Arkansas, Kansas State and Utah!

    Five more guys to watch.

Ben Bentley- Plays RB for Belfry High School in Kentucky. On only 70 carries he had 873 yards and 21 TD's! Very fast and explosive as evident by his 4.57 40 and 40" vert at the Nike combine! He currently has offers from William & Mary and Morehead State. https://a.hudl.com/profile/4412717/Ben-Bentley

Braden Walker- Plays RB for River Bluff High School in South Carolina. He has good size and good speed, ran a 4.55 at a shrine combine. Runs really hard and breaks a lot of tackles. He currently has offers from Citadel and Campbell. https://www.hudl.com/profile/4492634/Braden-Walker

Preston Zachman- Plays a little bit of everything for Southern Columbia High School in Pennsylvania. They were State Champs. Looks like he mainly plays TE but he's 6'2" 205 so at the next level he needs to play another position. His school has a 5 Star at receiver and Zachman doesn't get as much action. But he is an extremely talented athlete with 4.4 speed. He currently has offers from Army, Colgate, Robert Morris, New Hampshire, Fordham, Cornell and Albany. http://www.hudl.com/profile/8049285/Preston-Zachman

Sage Ennis- Is an athlete for Lincoln High School in Florida. Plays some wildcat QB, TE and receiver. Being recruited as a TE (6'4" 225). Very athletic for his size and can run. He currently has offers from FSU, South Carolina, Miami, West Virginia, Maryland, NC State and many more. https://www.hudl.com/profile/6458117/Sage-Ennis

Nick DeGennaro- Plays WR for The Hun School in New Jersey. He has really good speed and has run a 10.91 100M. Just runs away from people on the field. He currently has offers from UMASS, Lafayette, Fordham, Bucknell, Richmond, Bryant and Howard. https://www.hudl.com/profile/11524933/Nick-DeGennaro

    Five more to watch.

Jacob Hackworth- Plays RB for Jefferson Forrest High School in Virginia. Very good athlete with good speed. Has numerous long plays for TD's. He currently has no offers. https://www.hudl.com/profile/7999676/Jacob-Hackworth

Bruce Garrett- Plays RB for Pleasant Grove High School in Texas. They were State Runner Ups. He rushed for 2,004 yards. He has very good speed and balance and a little power to go with it. He currently has offers from BYU and Illinois State. https://www.hudl.com/profile/5405111/Bruce-garrett

Jacob Jarrett- Plays WR for Roswell High School in Georgia. A big bodied receiver (6'3" 195) who is very smooth and can run. Can go up and get the ball as well. Very good baseball player too. He currently has offers from Akron, Troy, South Alabama, Buffalo, Dartmouth, Holy Cross, Jacksonville State and Elon. http://www.hudl.com/profile/9356387/Jacob-Jarrett

Wyatt Wegener- Plays WR/RB for Algona High School in Iowa. Rushed for 792 yards and 13 TD's and caught 39 balls for 979 yards and 12 TD's. Well built kids who is just an all around athlete. Strong and fast. He currently has no offers. https://www.hudl.com/profile/7877392/Wyatt-Wegener

Ryan Kilburg- Plays DB and WR for Maine South High School in Illinois. Will bring the wood when he tackles and shows athleticism playing WR. He currently has offers from Kansas State, Ball State, Central Michigan, Ohio, Bowling Green, Western Michigan, Air Force, Navy, North Dakota State and other FCS schools. https://www.hudl.com/profile/9089438/Ryan-Kilburg

Out of rural Kentucky WR Jackson Hensley is also a stud baseball player with 6.53 speed in the 60 yard dash and legitimate 4.4 speed in the 40. Getting some offers but none of the big boys just yet. 6'2" 190 lbs.

Found 3 more WR recruits that went under the radar!

Duke WR commit Nicky Dalmolin 6'4 199 North Forsyth HS in Cummings, GA. Ranked the #151 WR in the nation, and the #86 player in Georgia. His only other offer after Duke, was from App state.

Oklahoma State WR commit Jay Wilkerson 6'0.5 165 from Heritage HS in Midlothian, TX. The #157 WR in the nation and #123 player overall in Texas. Had 15 offers from the likes of big programs like Kansas, Rutgers, and Colorado St!

NC State WR commit Stephen Gosnell 6'2 198 out of East Surry HS in Pilot Mountain, NC. Ranked the #172 WR nationally and #36 player in NC. NC St was the biggest school from his 10 offers, with Cincinnati, and Wake Forrest also in the mix.

UMASS picked up a RB commit in Jared Cole, he’s 5’10” 185lbs and could possibly be moved to slot receiver in the future like Andy Isabella.

Four excellent athletes that I hope Nebraska bites on. They all worked out at a recent Nebraska camp and the buzz on them is only building.

LB Hayden Hatcher played LB at a small college so he isn't technically a high school 2020 recruit but he ran a blistering 4.47 which is especially impressive given his 6'3" 210 pound size.

Edge Blaise Gunnerson fits the profile of an old time Nebraska defensive terror. Rangy 6'5" 250 lbs. Would be shocked if he doesn't land with the Cornhuskers.

S/OLB Issac Gifford is the younger brother of Luke. Has terrific speed (4.51) and all around athleticism. A post above mentioned he has committed to Nebraska but I can't verify that.

RB Miko Maessner. 100 and 200 meter sprint champ this year so no need to belabor that point. Also has great agility and a near 43 inch vertical. Good grief. Talk about athletic. Think he has been mentioned at CF before.

These players would look good in a Nebraska uniform. Nebraska has not signed many players from this class yet so odds are good these players will commit there.

The Ivy League plays good football. Sure they aren't part of the big boy chain but I think for many white skill players it affords them a better chance of playing and ultimately making it to the NFL.

So all in all I am OK with the news speedster Maessner is heading to Princeton. So fast and smart. Not a bad combination.

    Thanks for the heads up.

True, but damn, aren’t there any boosters at the school pissed at continually passing over good white talent?.....Wanting some diversity from the other end isn’t racist at all....We don’t want affirmative action in college sports, but if well qualified, we want these guys playing on our team.....Espescially, if their grades are deserving....This is college football, and it should matter......

i haven’t seen him play, so i don’t know if he has good balance, vision, agility, quickness, etc. (all attributes i consider to be more important than the 40 time), but i would love to see a recruiter ‘s face-to-face explanation for why a kid with his legitimate speed (10.60 in the 100-meters) and size was not recruited to their program. the obvious racial bias/slotting against so many of these young, White athletes is beyond words.

Thanks for all of the updates!
RB Bruce Garrett from TX (mentioned ABOVE Dolphin15 back in May) Committed to BYU a few weeks ago....

It does not looking very promising for the RB Class of 2020 according to the expert Recruiting Services ....Scanning the Top 100 ...not a white RB anywhere to be found until Garrett; who is Ranked 97th Best (are 96 RB's really better?) ....looking further down the list ...nothing until #140 Gaige Garcia (committed to Michigan)...& then at #150 Cody Christ (had been listed at OLB).

So just 3 out of 150.....nearly on par with the NFL. This is where it starts. Some of the 7 on 7 Summer Camps down South i have noticed the need for more white participation. Almost basketball on grass.

And checking the "All-Purpose Backs" of the 31 on the list ....#17 Jared Cole (mentioned above by Red Raider)...headed to U.Mass. was the only White RB listed.

Hoping the McCaffrey effect can have similar results that the Wes Welker effect produced!

Mentioned on other thread ....Class of 2021 ...Will Shipley is Ranked #3 RB in the U.S.!

Gaige Garcia is committed to wrestle and play RB for Michigan, not the most common dual-sport athlete as far as football players go. Hope he does great in both!

Great example of the caste system and black privilege in the recruiting system.

California received a verbal commitment from three-star 2020 DB Trey Paster.

Paster (6'2/200) is Cal's 16th verbal commitment in the 2020 recruiting cycle, and the Golden Bears beat out conference foes Oregon, UCLA, Utah and Washington for his pledge. The three-star defensive back from Atwater, California (Buhach Colony HS) said that his relationships with the Cal coaching staff had a big impact on his decision to commit this past weekend. Yet even with that being the case, Saturday's decision was one that was years in the making. "To be honest, I really knew in my heart this was the place for me since elementary school," Paster told Brandon Huffman of 247Sports.com. "But once I got the offer in March, I’ve been itching to commit ever since." Paster, who ran a 4.71s 40 and a 4.27s shuttle at a regional camp for The Opening in May, has the versatility to be useful at either corner or safety at the college level.

Did some more research and Ayden Hector actually appears to be white - was able to track down his parents - Zuri Hector and Ann Molitor.
