Chris Henry has been cut by the Bengals following his latest encounter with the law.

Justice at last. How many white players can you think of that would be getting this many shots at redemption?Edited by: PhillyBirds

"Now the Bears can get their other starting wideout."

That's about the reality of the situation. It's sickening that not only is Henry a mediocre wideout at best...but he's also quite the horrible person as well.

He shouldnt be concerned, if Pacman Jones can be "shopped around" by the Titans after his myriad of bullsh*t, there's hope for every thug in the league.

Thank god that race-pandering turd Paul Tagliabu is no longer running the league...I'm sure Jones, Henry, and the like would have never missed a single game if the slightly lesser turd Goddell hadnt stepped in.

Good line! It's just amazing what a total criminal this creep is. Zero impulse control.

If the NFL really wanted to clean up its act, it should ban any player who beats his wife or girlfriend. But that would put ahuge dentin the league'sfavored recruiting pool.

Henry has been re-signed by the Bengals. One of the NFL's worst thugs, it just goes to show that the league's "crackdown" affects mainly small fish. The Bengals have a lot of question marks at receiver, and so back to the team comes the esteemed Mr. Henry.

CINCINNATI (AP)â€â€￾With their two Pro Bowl receivers hurt, the Cincinnati Bengals brought back troubled receiver Chris Henry on Tuesday, a move that their coach had emphatically ruled out only a month earlier as inappropriate.

The signing helps the team but raises questions about its commitment to holding players accountable for their actions. Henry must serve a four-game suspension from the NFLâ€â€￾his third such punishmentâ€â€￾before he can fully rejoin the team.

The move was stunning in light of Lewis' statement shortly before training camp opened that the team had permanently parted ways with the receiver, who has been arrested five times since he joined the Bengals. Henry had indicated he was interested in rejoining Cincinnati.

"I'm not interested," Lewis said at the team's annual preseason luncheon on July 22. "I don't think it would be productive for our football team. You have to be a productive part to be an NFL player, and there's responsibilities to being an NFL player. It's a privilege, it's not a right. There's a lot that comes with being an NFL football player."

Ever notice how criminally violentfootball players are often referred to merely as "troubled"? Wonder if that's the adjective Henry's victims would use to describe him.

Believe it or not, the Bengals named Chris Henry as team captain before the last preseason game. No, that's not a misprint. Even the white-hating posters on fantasy football forums were blasting this incredible move. The Bengals organization is probably the worst in the NFL.

I read about it on a few fantasy sites. Here is a blurb about it on Fanball:

Chris Henry was named captain for the Bengals in their final preseason game, according to Pro Football Talk.

Our View: Are you kidding ? If this doesn't cement the fact that this is the worst run organization in sports, we don't know what will. The "C" likely won't be on his jersey when the season starts as he will miss the first four weeks of the season, but the message is still clear - the Bengals are totally lost.

The Bengals are always singled out, but they are worse than the other NFL teams only by amatter ofdegree. The Vikings, Chargers, Steelers, Jaguars and many others have been just below the pace set by the Bengals when it comes to players being arrested. The most common arrest is for beating their wife or girlfriend, which gives one an insight into how common woman-beating is in the black community. Yet it's white men who have been smeared by the media as the ones doing what black men are doing.

Rap mogul Suge Knight was arrested yesterday in Las Vegas, while engaged outside of his stopped limoin the middle of a high traffic highway, beating his girlfriend half to death with one hand while holding a knife in the other with which he was threatening her. The black culture of horrendous violence toward women and of crime in general is given a pass by the media and by feminists. But that Matt Leinart character, enjoying himself at an off-season party. What a loser!Edited by: Don Wassall

A vermin like Henry gets multiple chances, but Matt Jones gets BLACKballed after 1 little slip-up...and yet the caste system is "just in the mind" of us "ignorant racists".[IMG] [IMG]

More proof of Darwinism. This is not a tragedy and it's not news.

At least he killed himself instead of an innocent person. This "tragedy" is not a surprise.

It's too bad for him, really. His fiancee throws him out of a moving vehicle during a fight, rather than just burning his house down, like Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes did to Andre Rison.......

Poor guy. He was a VICTIM of the RACIST white authorities who constantly HOUNDED him and CAUSED him to make poor life decisions. Therefore, he is not responsible for any of that and now can be properly recognized for the wonderful, saintly human being that he was.
