last night in the first half of Wake Forest's game against Florida State, Chas McFarland was sucker punched by a negro thug on Florida State's team while running up the court several feet behind the ball.

Ryan Reid, the negro who sucker punched McFarland, was ejected after the officials looked at the video.

McFarland, though knocked down by the unexpected blow, only drew strength from the adversity. the 7-foot sophomore showed his toughness by responding with his first career double-double to go along with 3 blocked shots. he dominated FSU's interior players all night, helping to limit the Seminoles frontline to just 10 points in the Wake Forest win.

McFarland's stat line: 17 points (on 7-10 shooting), 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks.

i don't know if any of you saw this, but Chas McFarland was once again the victim of a sucker punch. well, it was a flagrant blindside elbow, delivered while he was running in the open court.

this time it was Solomon Alabi, who was ejected for elbowing McFarland in the face. not coincidentally, i'm sure, McFarland was the only white player on the floor and it "just so happened" that he was the victim of a dirty cheap shot. of course, no one has yet brought up the racial implications of all these flagrant elbows that have been occurring lately.

McFarland is a tough s.o.b., though, and he responded by hitting both free throws after the flagrant foul and then scoring 7 points in a 13-0 Wake Forest spurt to put the game away.

No one every brings up racial implications if a white is the victim. If they do the media will always flip it anyways. These types of situations are occuring constantly and nothing is being done about them.

Have you ever noticed that ever since Obongo has been elected, white ballers are getting assaulted here and there? It's a war zone out there, these white ballers need to fight back and stand their ground.

Zach Randolph ejected for throwing punch in last night's Sun's v. Clipper's game. Before I even read the recap I knew who he had punched - Louis Amundson, the Sun's only white big man. By the way, Amundson has been getting some playing time and producing good numbers for the Suns.

Yeah, even Kyle Singler got in on the action against Tyler Hansbrough.

By golly, he should! Singler needs to show everyone he's as tough as any hombre out there. Go Singler!

i saw this happen. it didn't look intentional to me.

rather, Singler was on the floor fighting for a loose ball and one hand slipped off, and his elbow hit Hansbrough who was behind him. it wasn't vicious, nor was it intentional in my opinion.

if you want to point out a white guy connecting with a dirty elbow, you should mention the big kid from Michigan who had a nasty one earlier this season.

Chas McFarland has been sucker punched by blacks at least 3 times in his career ... the two mentioned above, and by Gonzaga's Elias Harris (a mulatto from Germany) this season. however, despite being on the receiving end of multiple cheap shots while usually being the only non-black on the court, according to Yahoo's Jeff Eisenberg it is all McFarland's fault.

the "article" reports how before he ever played against McFarland, Kentucky freshman big man DeMarcus Cousins called McFarland a dirty player. Eisenberg goes on to claim that McFarland "played the role of instigator the whole night, catching Cousins with a couple elbows to the neck and chest and even declining to shake the Kentucky freshman's hand before tip-off." oh such thuggery! not shaking hands with a guy who has called you a dirty player. how evil McFarland is!

in fact, the best Eisenberg could come up with was the video on the link, where McFarland commits a routine hard foul ... followed up, of course, by getting shoved by another black player on Kentucky who gets called for a technical. but, i'm sure that was McFarland's fault, as well.

Eisenberg, by the way, makes no mention of the cheap shot/shove by the black Kentucky player. that wouldn't be honest reporting, i guess.

meanwhile, while McFarland is being falsely accused of all those dirty plays with no videoproof to back up any ofit, McFarland has been the victim of repeated dirty plays, including having his nose broken, and the plays have been caught on video. hmmm ... interesting, huh? but i'm sure that's just another evil White plot, too.

on a completely unrelated topic, i wonder if Eisenberg blames the Jews for the animosity displayed against them?

I'm not familiar with McFarland's style of play, but the accusations remind me of Bill Laimbeer, who was an aggressive player who also was not particularly graceful, thus hesometimes committed unintentional hard fouls, which made him universally hated outside of Detroit as the NBA's "dirtiest" player.

JC, I suspect unloading on White athletes comes natural to tribesman Eisenberg.

Don, good points on Laimbeer. BTW, he's one of my favorite players (was a dual-threat to score & rebound).

JC, interesting points on McFarland. I haven't watched this player, but from your reports it sounds as if Don is right. McFarland might be a good tough defender, but is not graceful ala Laimbeer. When he commits a tough defensive foul, sometimes they may come harder than they should, but not intentionally. If McFarland were black, he'd just be called another tough "street ball" defender- without out of control hate coming at him.

I do agree with you though, that there is nothing wrong with McFarland not shaking the hand of someone who called him "a dirty player". Eisenberg's report seems one sided- and I'm not surprised at all coming from white rivals Yahoo.com.

A sucker punch is uncalled for. If McFarland is making hard fouls- that are unintentionally harder than they have to be (because of his lack of finesse) the opposing player should fight him face to face if he can't help himself. Even a few teammates getting in there and shoving at him could happen in the heat of the moment. I don't know how many things happened to the sucker puncher to rile him up, but it is no matter- that is thuggish/ cheap shot, coward behavior.

BTW, JC- do you consider this McFarland a solid NBA prospect? I've never watched much of Wake Forest.

McFarland (and Laimbeer) are no different than dozens of black big men around the country who play hard ... and rough. of course, since they are White, they are singled out disparagingly. meanwhile, the black players and their rough play are just playing good, physical, hard-nosed basketball while providing an intimidating presence in the paint.

double standard anyone?

is McFarland an NBA prospect? by whose judgment are you asking? according to the negrophiles in the NBA, there are likely only about 6 American-born White players who have a chance at getting drafted. so, by their reckoning, McFarland won't even get a smell of the NBA.

but, in my view, an athletic, long-armed7-footer who can run the floor and plays tough defense should always get a long look. especially when you consider that he put up pretty good offensive numbers while getting very few touches. (not a surprise, really, when you consider that he's been the only White player to get minutes for Wake since he's been on the team.)

he's the type of guy who could carve out a niche as a defensive big man off the bench and play a lot of seasons. but that is very unlikely to happen, in my opinion.

a guy who i think would have a better chance and a better career in the NBA is Duke's Brian Zoubek. he has really improved this season and his best basketball is still ahead of him ... if he gets the opportunity, that is. Zoubek is yet another example in the long list that demonstrates why i would red-shirt virtually every White kid i signed, if i were a basketball coach. Zoubek is just hitting his stride this year, and he's a senior. like so many White kids, he has physically matured much later than his black peers.
