The Bills are set to release black offensive lineman Derrick Dockery and black tight end Robert Royal, according to their agents. As of now, the number two tight end is Derek Schouman, and there are a few white backup offensive linemen who have a chance to replace Dockery. Of course, Bills could be planning to look for a true athlete to come in and take over, maybe in the draft, but it would be great to see Schouman out there as starter.

Robert Royal must have naked photos of someone in the NFL, because despite being slow, dopic, and having generic stats....he was somehow able to start for both the Redskins and the Bills.

Other than Bubba Franks and Benjamin Watson, Royal is about as useless a TE as I've ever seen.

The Bills' super-black offense is the only thing keeping them from being my favorite franchise. For the past 5 seasons, they've drafted, signed, and started more white defenders (especially D-line and safety) than any other team.

Schoeman is young and athletic, he reminds me of Brent Celek with the Eagles. I'd love to see him start this season. Thanks for the Bills update, referendum!

Yeah, the Bills will be a team to root for if they can get a white WR, some white o-line men, and keep signing white defenders.

Also read that they might be looking for a center to replace Fowler/Preston, maybe Matt Birk of the Vikings (who has a white backup ready to fill in for him). Seems the Bills are disappointed in the performance of their large o-lines of late, a little too much in the Sumo department. Brad Butler was the only all season white o-lineman starter last year, hopefully the Bills will get up to two or more in 09.

I hope so too, there aren't many white starters (offense, defense) in the entire NFL overall.Edited by: j41181

Bills resigned Kirk Chambers, who started when one of the sumo linemen was holding out last year. The article today says that Chambers is in the mix to be a starter. If this is true, we could have Chambers, Butler and Hangartner as starters on the line, and maybe Schouman starting as well.
