Caught a little of Hawaii's win over UAB and heard some talk about chad owens. He looked white to me and I here he had a ton of touchdowns the last three games both recieving and returning kicks. He also was (no surprise) a walk-on. Can anybody give more info?

He could be white, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is part Polynesian. He's definitely a talent, and a very underpublicized one.

If there were any lingering doubts that Owens might be of strictly European background they were dispelled by noted Caste System follower Jack Del Rio, who said of his rookie sixth round draft pick: "He's a quick-twitch guy, that's for sure."
Owens is reportedly tearing it up at the Jags' camp. But then again so supposedly is Reggie Williams, a big-time flop last year as a first round draft pick. Ever since Jax drafted Matt Jones, it seems as though every non-white receiver on the team is allegedly approaching stud status. I imagine next we'll hear that Ernest Wilfordand Troy Edwards havebecome unstoppable. . .

I doubt that.Maybe Reggie Williams IS doing well.So is Chad Owens.Jack Del Rio is not racist against whites.That just does not make sense.Why would he hate fellow whites?Isnt it normally the whites that hate the blacks?

I have a very good education,thank you very much.And what I meant was how could a society completely dominated and owned by whites be racist against whites now when 20 years ago blacks were still being lynched.Do any of you think it's possible that the black guys finally got the chance to play in the 80s and did very well?Did you think that maybe they were just so good that people could not ignore them anylonger?Maybe they are still proving people wrong today.Not just blacks either,but all minorities.

Hey there are plenty of good black players, but they do not make up 100% of the best running back, defensive backs, and most of the other positions.
Who cares anyway? It's entertainment and I want to see white players just like blacks want to see black players, hispanics want to see hispanics, asian's want to see asians, indian's want to see indian's eskimoes want to see eskimos and so forth.
