It was very frustrating reading through the comments though, even if they are nothing but a rehash of all the arguments that we've already fought and defeated on this site.
But there were a couple of comments posted by people claiming to be a beat writer for the Green Bay Packers and the host of some Philadelphia radio talk show. They were requesting interviews of the blogger for their papers / programs. Maybe we're not really as isolated and alone out here as we think?
There were two or three other pages like this "Caucasian Receiver" page at about the same time. They were sarcastic and anti-white in tone. However, several people who posted comments mentioned and linked to Caste Football, which caused a nice back and forth about this site.
Ah, okay. I didn't realize the column had already been written. This particular blog doesn't seem sarcastic or anti-white, but then again he hasn't posted or written anything there in over a month, so who knows?
I'd be surprised if he's actually sympathetic to the subject he's writing about. What little is there shows no knowledge of the problems white football players have in being recruited and even given the opportunity to be receivers. Referring to the labels used for white receivers as "hate language" and that white receivers are "being oppressed" would indicate to me that it was written with a smirk.
The others I saw were more openly sarcastic and probably originated from the same guy.
