Saw on the news that davis will be fired within a week, that dosent bother me because he has never been able to control his players with the canes or browns, but what does bother me is they said terry robiske the browns black o-coordinater is first in line for job, all he has done in his first year of being o-coordinator is lead the browns to the 4th worst offense in the afc. Garcia has been very critical able the plays being slow to be calledinby this guy. They have dave campo as d-coordinator and the browns defense has looked decent this year, sounds like a better choice to me.

I won't shed any tears when Davis goes, but Campo is worse. He brought about the mess that Bill Parcells inherited in Dallas -- a lousy, virtually all-black team.

Robiske is a typical affirmative action coach. He didn't impress anyone
duiring his brief stint as head coach of the Redskins after Norv Turner
was finally fired. He doesn't speak the english language well, to put
it nicely. He and Davis have nearly killed Garcia this year, with their
ridiculous play calling, imcompetent clock management and failed
blocking schemes. If Davis had any input in drafting players and
signing free agents, then he must share the responsibility of the
criminally negligent offensive line Garcia has had to run for his life
behind. Their absolute refusal to upgrade the offensive line reminds me
of San Francisco's refusal to upgrade their o-line during Steve Young's
last days as a player. We all know what happened to him, and I
certainly hope that Garcia doesn't suffer some serious injury as
well.

Yea not much to look forward to in cleveland I just hope in the offseason they do the right thing. I have heard rumors that bernie Kosar wants to be involved I would love to see him become the teams gm. There is not much to root for anymore I havent gone to a game since the team has been back I hate more players on the team then I like, warren, green, northcutt, winslow are all thugs. I try to watch football because my 2 boys like the sport but every year it is getting harder and harder to sit threw.

Was Campo the one who cut Richmond Flowers? I
would've loved to see him have a chance to prove
himself in the NFL.

Campo cut Flowers, probably more than once. Richmond is currently listed as being with the Redskins, which means he was also cut by Joe Gibbs (and probably by Steve Spurrier too). The Redskins current roster including the practice squad as listed on NFL.com doesn't have Flowers on it. I'm sure he and John Standeford could exchange a few stories on how they were written off without being given a chance.

It's supposedly all about natural "speed" yet Flowers has it in abundance, as did his gold medal-winning father. Flowers' thoroughbred background undoubtedly scared off the NFL, just as so many white speed burners never get a chance. And when they're not speedburners, like Standeford, they're usually brainy (Standeford was an academic All-American), tall, and have great hands -- but are cut because of "lack of speed."

Where is John Standeford now. I have always heard he had 4.5 40 speed thats not bad faster then half the nfl. Also speaking of speed I read wherekevin curtis of the rams runs a 4.32 40.
