Great news!

I have discussed Brylee before as a victim of the caste system.

He was an Awesome running back in MN who ran in the same conference as current caste system victim Jake Machachek in 2004

Well, Brylee decided not go DIII and went to Feather Hills CC in California for two years after running for 2400 yds and a large school state championship in MN.

The Golden Gophers offerred this white kid a scholarship for next year at RB! No Kidding

I watched this kid in HS and he was the real deal. 6' 195 and a legitimate 4.4

Minnesota could have a white running back again. No wonder they didn't send Jake a letter, MN could have two whites at RB. That would be racist wouldn't it?

I dont want to rain on anybodies parade, but this kid will be moved to tight end if not fullback. Sophomore RB Gary Russel rushed for over 1,000 yards and had 18 TDs. Sophomore Amir Pinnex played in one game and rushed for over 200 yards in that game. So at best this guy is 3rd string walking in the door,. Factor in that he will be a junior along with caste footballintangibles and you have a tight end in the making.

You may be right, but he isn't really tall or big enough to be moved to TE.

But I am sure they think he will make a great safety

He doesn't look questionable to me... Hopefully he'll work his way up to get some carries this season.

Great News..Gary Russell(the back taking over for Lawrence Maroney just flunked out) He earned a D- in underwater basket weaving which didn't allow him to keep his 2.0 GPA.

This means Brylee Callendar will be 2nd string behind Sophomore Amir Pinnix. Brylee should get some carries next year.

Don't get too excited , we did get two fresh RBs from a tribe in Mozambique who claim to not only have amazing speed but they have a ritual where they murder a white local the night before games and devour the heart while still pumping. Suppossedly,, this gives them superhuman strength so this could eat(no pun intended) into Brylee's playing time

Watch this space..

Voice, I believe I read he was going to be playing spring ball this year. You will have to keep us updated. I am still not 100% sold on this kid being white. His first name makes me suspect, combined with the curly black hair. There was a thread on the Utah Jazz about Kris Humphries, most everybody thought he was white. This could be the same situation.

KJV1,

I never suspected, but you could be right. The guy is a verified idiot due to some off the field issues. It wouldn't surprise me but for now lets give him the benefit of the doubt

Tailback Brylee Callender, a junior college transfer from Lakeville trying to earn time as a backup to Amir Pinnix next season, rushed 15 times for 110 yards and touchdowns of 4, 26 and 6 yards.

"He ran better today than he has all spring," Mason said. "It's a big difference between Lakeville High School and the Big Ten Conference; that's obviously a big adjustment, but I thought he looked better today."

That was with the first team offense!

It is official. Gary Russell is ruled ineligible for Fall Semester at MN.

This means Brylee will be at least second string on a running team-Amir Pinnix first string.

We are going to see a white running back getting serious carries in Big 10! Too bad it wasn't last years offensive line though

Looks like there will be no need to debate the merits of Callender's race as he has been suspended indefinitely. This only lends creedence to those who believe he is of mixed-race.

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Gophers lost yet another running back on Wednesday when junior college transfer Brylee Callender was suspended indefinitely for violating team rules.

Gophers coach Glen Mason did not specify what rules were broken in a one-sentence news release on Wednesday evening, but the move further depletes an already thin backfield.

The Gophers lost junior running back Laurence Maroney shortly after last season when he declared for the NFL draft and was taken in the first round by New England. Then Gary Russell, the top returning rusher who set a school record for rushing touchdowns last season, was ruled academically ineligible.

Blue Ribbon preview: Minnesota

The drama for Minnesota got a head start in the offseason this year, as dark clouds circled the program during preparation for the Music City Bowl last December. Head coach Glen Mason's contract was up for renewal, and a strong case was made on both sides of the argument over whether to bring him back.
On the plus side, Mason's Gophers were about to play in their sixth bowl game in seven years, after a long dry spell for the traditionally dismal program, and put together an unprecedented streak of three straight seasons with two 1,000-yard rushers on the team.

To read more of Blue Ribbon's preview of Minnesota's chances in 2006, click here.

Callender led Lakeville High School to the 2003 state championship before spending two years at Feather River College in California to get his academics straightened out.

At the Gophers media day on Aug. 4, Mason said Callender was impressive in spring workouts.

"Brylee Callender went through an adjustment period, but he probably performed best during spring practice," Mason said. "He worked tremendously hard this summer. I'm anxious to see how he'll perform."

Just how long Callender will be suspended was unclear on Wednesday night, but Mason may have to do some more shuffling to bolster the depth behind presumed starter Amir Pinnix, who was third on the depth chart last season behind Maroney and Russell.

The loss of All-American linemen Greg Eslinger and Mark Setterstrom to the NFL could put even more of a premium on quality running backs this season. Mason loves to use multiple backs in his run-oriented offense, which prompted him to move highly touted sophomore Alex Daniels from linebacker to running back, even before Callender was suspended.

"I've talked long and hard about not having the depth at running back we've all become accustomed to around here, so I moved Alex Daniels to running back," Mason said. "We have to get creative because we still want to run the football."

Jay Thomas and Justin Valentine also are in the mix for the Gophers, who have been one of the nation's top rushing teams for the past few years.

Callender's suspension could further hasten a move away from the running game as Mason will look to depend on senior quarterback Bryan Cupito more this season.

"When I look at us right now I'm a little uncertain about the running back position," Mason said at media day. "But I'm confident in our quarterback and the decisions he'll make. I'm confident in his throwing ability and I'm confident in our receivers, so that's why I think you'll see us throw the ball more effectively."

usually the ones with a quarter black or less control there impulsesand demands for instant gratification better then the darker ones. This kid seems to be more stupid rather than a hardcore criminal.

Was the drug dealing rapist defensive back at Michigan State, Cole Corey,
of mixed race? He had to be, right? One of all those blacks from
Tecumseh, Michigan ...

Don't pay any attention to this dick's anti-white rantings. Cole and a buddy went over a girls house, got high, and had sex with her, the same sh*t most of us did as kids. But nowadays the girl can cry rape after consensual sex which is what she did and of course the white guy has no chance of beating that rap.

I'm sure GLS thinks Mike Tyson and Kobe Bryant got a bum rap but a good kid from Tecumseh is the ghetto thug.

A) he didn't deal drugs, he gave them to a friend for free
B) it was not forcible sexual assault, the judge stated she could not *consent* because she was high, what BS that is! But anyway that is still not a violent rape.

This is more pathetic white blaming aimed at assuaging some guilt GLS has about white people honestly pointing out the pathologies of the black community.
