Brad Hoover had a descent game last week and today so far has 23 rushes for 95 yards. He should go over 100
for the 2nd time in his career. It's such a shame that he
has spent most of his career blocking as a fullback.Anyone can see that he has the talent to play
at the running back position. As usual, the only reason that he is playing is because of alot of injuries. This
is such a shame but maybe if he's smart,he might try to
go to another team when his contract is up.I wish Carolina would wake up and let him start for one full season to see what he can really do.I guarantee that he
would rush for over 1000 yards!

He ran for over 3600 yards at a small college.
Sounds familiar. I'm not a football expert, but I have
to assume that very little will change for white RBs
and FBs in the NFL until they first become stars at
the elite college programs. Not just a known
program like BYU or Arkansas- elite. USC,
Oklahoma, Miami, teams like that will have to recruit,
sign, develop, start, play, and- most importantly- trust
white RBs. And they have to be pure running backs.
I really like Hillis, but it'll be too easy to play him at
fullback in the NFL, regardless of how great his
career is in Arkansas. (Although that could be good
for him personally because it could enhance his
chances at having an NFL career, and save his body,
too.)

The color commentator actually said that he was
"sensational" in the first half. I can't recall ever
hearing that strong of a word used on a current white
player carrying the ball. Of course he was black; the
white commentators will only use words like "hard
worker" and "big and strong" when referring to a
white RB. Even a female commentator said that a
white RB or FB- forget his name- was "a hard
working kid" yesterday. And women are supposed to
be smarter. Yeah right. Occasionally a white
receiver will get a compliment on his speed or
athleticism, but rarely will a white RB get one.

I agree completely, JDO. Guys like Hoover will only get a chance when there is a severe injury problem, just as Hoover did back in '00, when he ran for over 100 yards during a Monday Night game and was rewarded by being converted into a blocking fullback the next season. Look at Rueben Droughns; like Hoover he was a blocking back who was given a chance to run the ball and excelled. Unlike Hoover, Droughns is now the featured back. Hoover will go back to blocking as soon as Stephen Davis is healthy, but at least Carolina head coach John Fox fed him the ball today. The NFL is so pathetic that few if any other head coaches would have done the same under the same circumstances. They would have made mulatto Nick Goings the featured back, or Joey Harris, or signed some journeyman loser, anything but letting the white man have a chance. Look at Dave Wannstedt -- he has Brock Forsey AND Rob Konrad, and both rot while discarded black journeyman carry the ball.

With Miami winning today, they will say its because of them at running back. The running game for the Dolphins
sucked today.I guess Brock will never get even 1 start and now he will rot on the bench. This sucks so bad.

Mike Alstott had a nice game today. He was 7 carries for 29 yards, making some real nice cuts and used his power well. He also had two receptions. Joe Jurevicius finally came back from injuries and had 2/21. Not much to brag about, but he was a starter (which is showing him some respect) andshould remain a starter, joining Bennett and Stokley in that department. It's terrible the way Forsey is being treated by the patheticWannstedt, who I would love to see fired, but today was a rare day with both Hoover and Alstott running the ball.

Happened to be in Carolina today and saw the Panthers game. Hoover was excellent. When he had holes he blasted through them and got tough yards. They should just give him the ball and go for it.

That's great to hear, jaxvid! Will the North Carolina faithful exhibit historical memory and demand that Hoover remain in there, or will they meekly capitulate to the Caste System when season-long rehabilatatee S. Davis deems himself ready. (and as they did with Hoover in 2000.)

Hoover briefly went out today with an injured shoulder, then came right back in the game. A great warrior equals a great runner.Edited by: Don Wassall

Hoover is such a likeable guy.One thing I hate is when ever you see a white running back, the announcers always
say that he is a throwback. It's like we can't have guys
like that anymore because it's not the 50's or 60's.
We need to change the way people think.Brad Hoover is a
tank and has good speed too.He is quite a load to try to
bring down.

Why shouldn't he continue to get the ball just as Droughns is for Denver? The Broncos started off the season with Griffin, Hearst, Anderson, and the rookie Tatum Bell. Droughns was purely a blocking back yet through injury and effort he moved ahead of all of them.

But the built-in excuse, if anyone even asks for it, is that the Panthers only scored 6 points. Must be Hoover's fault.

Here is a great article on Brad Hoover. It is about his game on Sunday. It's a shame because he had 4 rushes for
21 yards in the 2nd half after 78 yards rushing in the first half. They got down and had to start going pass crazy to get back in the game.Hoover just might have had around 150 yards or more if the game was close. The bad news is that the Panthers are looking to sign a free agent running back. Please don't do it.Stick with Brad!

Here is another great article on Brad Hoover. This should be a feature article on Caste fooball. He describes how much he loves to run the ball and he's outperforming the
star running back.He has been told that he needs to be
a blocking fullback and has done it reluctantly.Heres the link to this article.Enjoy guys, this is reality! [:s

Lets try the link for the story again. This is one of the best articles telling how the white running back feels being moved to fullback but he is still willing to do whatever it takes to contribute to the team.Maybe Hoover and some other guys like Konrad need to demand the chance to play at the running back position!

Regarding the Courier Tribune article, how about the
terminology: "rumbling," "rumbled"- she uses it
twice! Will they ever learn....

As you know, I'm a fantasy football participant and closely monitor the hobby. What I find encouraging is that there is wide acceptance of Hoover as the Panthers main man right now with Stephen Davisinjured and DeShaun Foster out for the year. Usually there is almost universal hostility toward white running backs, similar to what white WRs face. Maybe it's the increasing white presence in basketball, whatever it is nice to see. There is definitely a growing groundswell behind Hoover. Also, there is more acceptance of Stokley and Bennett and white receivers in general this year, even as white receivers have been really reduced in numbers the past two seasons.

Stephen Davis is listed as "out" on the NFL's official injury report which came out today. That means Brad will get the start again Sunday against Seattle. It's a big game as both teams are unexpectedly struggling and are in close to must-win situations. It would be great if Hoover has another nice game.

I hope he does start but the Panthers signed Brandon Bennett to the Roster as another running back.I hope that
they don't start Brandon over Hoover.I'm really frustrated about not being able to access that article.
It is one of the best that I have seen in telling the
truth about what happens to these guys.Thats great news about the Fantasy League.

Hoover willdefinitely be starting Sunday. Bennett was picked up for depth asCarolina's running back corps has been depleted by injury.

I'll give kudos to John Fox again. How many other head coaches in the sorry NFL would start a white "fullback" over a black "tailback," even the most widely recycled journeyman black retreads that keep popping up on different teams? Just look at what a complete loser Dave Wannstedt is with Forsey and Konrad on the same team but neither gets a chance to carry the ball.

Note: Sammy Morris (speaking of black retreads), who somehow leapfrogged over Forsey without Forsey even getting a chance, is listed as questionable on Miami's injury list for Monday night's game. Once again the door is opened for Brock, but with the testosterone-challenged Wannstedt who knows what will happen.Edited by: Don Wassall

Thats how Hoover got his first big start on Monday Night
Football! How great would it be if Brock could get the chance to start and break a few long runs in route to a
100+ yard game. This would be the perfect setting.Lets hope that it works out.As for Hoover,I really admire him
for his determination and drive.By the way,the Chargers had the 2nd best rush defense in the NFL coming into last
weekend and Hoover ran right through them.Very impressive
for a guy who always has to block so someone else can get
the glory.Go Carolina,go Hoover!

Well,it looks like J.Harris is the main man now to carry
the ball.Hoover only has 5 rushes late in the 3rd quarter. It's back to blocking for him.I wish Hoover would
leave Carolina & go to a team that will keep him at
running back.He has the power and speed. Some how though,
I don't see him going anywhere.Wasted talent!

Of course, any team that will keep him at RB won't
play him at RB.

So he can either play at FB and "block for blacks"
(and perhaps occasionally get the ball when two or
three RBs get injured and they haven't signed
anyone else yet, or the guy they signed is also
injured), ride the pine as an RB, or get cut as an RB.
Depressing but true. Hopefully someday it will be
different.

I've said it many a time. They don't want white heroes. The crypto-zionists and their lap-dogs are doing all they can to try and make every position black, especially QB. Expect the rule changes to become more and more drastic, all to help certain guys who can't look off receivers, only able to take one look and run without checking the periphery.

Hoover is destined never to really get a fair shake. That 99 yard performance scared too many people, I'd reckon.

Well, here we go again. Stephen Davis is reported to be undergoing knee surgery and will be out for the year. Joey Harris, Carolina's pickup who was supposed to relegate that annoying white guy to the bench, was injured during practice Friday. That leaves, once again -- Mr. Brad Hoover.

Hoover is listed as questionable on Carolina's injury report but was quoted in the papers yesterday as saying he's playing. I'm sure the caste advocates in the league office and the media and everywhere else are once again apoplectic at the thought that the Panthers may turn to the talented Brad Hoover as their feature back because of injuries, especially after Brock Forsey has been effectively neutralized in Miami. Of course there's always the journeyman quadroon Nick Goings, who was nothing more than a backup at the University of Pittsburgh. Should be interesting.
