Interesting fights on the horizon, not in any particular order:

Wladimir Klitschko vs Shannon Briggs
Roman Karmazin vs Cory Spinks
Felix Sturm vs Javier Castillejo
Oleg Maskaev vs Hasim Rahman
Sultan Ibragimov vs. Ray Austin
Serguei Lyakhovich vs. Kevin McBride.

and although not involving a white fighter,
James Toney vs Sam Peter (!!! wtf lol)

Hard to believe that this fight will take place, but I do think I'd like to watch it, just to see what happens. I hope Peter knocks Toney TFO. Edited by: White Shogun

I'm glad that Klitschko is fighting a big guy. It'll be another opportunity for him to prove that he has the chin and toughness (or at least overwhelming skill and talent if he can avoid any big punches) to handle the big boys. We all know that there are plenty of people who will predict a Briggs victory. A rematch against Brewster would be even better, but this is fine with me.

Actually, I'd prefer that Toney beat Peter. I know we all hate Toney, but think it through. Who's the bigger threat? Toney's on his way out and is way too small to contend with Klitschko. Peter doesn't appear to be progressing very fast right now; I saw some of his fight with some guy named Hawkins the other night (I'm not sure if it was live,) and it was a very unimpressive victory. But even without much skill he has the power to be a threat to our guys, so I want him to lose.

Who knows, Toney may squeak past Peter with a decision. Peter will have to do better against Toney than he did against Hawkins.

And I have to give Toney credit for fighting Peter instead of another small HW like Minto. I guess he couldn't find more money elsewhere. Edited by: JD074
