If anyone has heard of this show, it is where a black family wears white makeup, and a white family wears black makeup, and cameras follow them around. What does anyone expect from this show? From what I can see from the previews, it is going to totally slander whites (being black is cool!) but I will try to watch it with an open mind, but I can't help feel that somehow whites will be blamed for everything.

WTF all this is going to be is pure lies. the White turned black family will face all kinds of rasism. The thing is they are trying to pass this show off as real but I bet the white turned black family faces off aginst rasist who are realy actors. Trust me this whole show is a fake.
I heard that the white guy made up as a black guy said he didn't experience any racism as a black guy. His counterpart on the show (a real black guy) was upset at him for not being able to see the "real" racism going on like not getting fast service at a restuarant and other human tragedies.
I haven't seen it but I heard that the show was trying real hard invent racism where none exists. For example, they tried to pick redneck hang-outs full of conferederate flags and etc to send these guys into hoping for some kind of racism. They came up with slow service - whoppee.
It could be an interesting experiment if it were done correctly. What they should do is send the black guy made-up as white guys to black ganster ghettos, but that would probably be too dangerous. The producers should have the children apply to colleges under their "new" races.
The "newly White" boy will find that his lousy grades and piss-poor SAT/ACT score won't get him accepted, as a White, into any decent college.
The "newly black" girl will find that her grades and scores will magically result in full scholarships to the Ivys, Stanford, Cornell, Michigan, etc.
Somehow, I just don't see the producers pursuing this angle...

I can't believe I watched this, but this turned out to be the funniest crap ever. Guys, catch this program. I mean, if all the efforts of the NWO war on Whites were this lame, it'd be a big relief.
They had to pick out the lamest white people ever didn't they? Basically the kind of huge liberals who worship blacks. The Whites think their mates look "warm and attractive" in blackface. Meanwhile the black guy's wife goes on and on about how un-attractive her husband is in white-face.
Our black guy has apparently suffered all his life from not having his shoes put on him by the shoe-salesmen.
Gee, I've never had my shoes put on by a shoe-salesman either, then again I buy them at Wal-Mart *shrug*.
Oh yeah, right in the beginning our White guy has to say that theres "no doubt" that blacks are superior physically. Hmmm...I daresay the I.Q. test results that repeatedly show a White advantage of 100 vrs. 85 points for Blacks (One standard deviation) are even more telling than the fastest black and white times in the 100 meters (9.78 vrs 10 seconds, or approx 2%). But nevermind, we can't talk about that. Or about who dominates strength disciplines, no-holds barred fighting, or 90% of the sports at the Olympics.
Apparently the main trait of Whites to these people is curiousity. Yes, damn our wierd inquisitive souls, unlocking the secrets of the universe and inventing flush toilets and all.
The other big trait of Whites is supposed to be ethnocentrism. BET, NAACP, United Negro College Fund, Ebony magazine, www.blackathlete.net. But really folks, Whites are the ethnocentric ones. And we'll keep repeating it till you believe it!
Even though he's obviously an Uber-liberal, our White guy can detect 0 racism in blackface as an objective observer. But wait, our black guy informs him that blacks have psychic powers, and can tell whether a white person acts in some way because they are racist, having a bad day, just pissed off, etc.
Our black guy is rather light--skinned with green eyes, and he makes a reference to having to fight darker blacks in school, while also getting social censure from Whites. So blacks tried to beat a black guy up for being too light, while Whites just didn't invite him to their parties. But only White racism is evil! Only White racism is evil!
Our little white girl reads the only poem that has any real value other than volume. (Well, its teenage sexual angst stuff, but still much better than 100 repitions of "it's tough being a blackh in da hood") in the "slam poetry circle" but gets informed that there are too many "big words" for her audience!
Oh yeah, and they don't think we're particularly clean. Hahahha!

Believe it or not I have a mullato friend that can't stand blacks. He was raised in nearly all-white rural country area. By his own admission he never experienced any real racism until he met blacks in the big city later in life. They hated that he didn't act like a thug. To this day he doesn't have a single black friend and doesn't want one.
White people are the most accepting and tolerant people in the world. When we discrimate it's always because of the behavior of a group of people and that is nothing to be ashamed.

Umm the black family looked hispanic or maybe very dark white ie Sicilian or Greek, if I saw them walking down the street I wouldn't necessarily think white.......

Well I saw the first episode last night. It doesn't get any worse than this. Those people are so unlikeable. They're walking, talking stereotypes: the two black adults were so bitter and angry, and the man was extremely paranoid. A family gives them some room on the sidewalk and he interprets this as racist! Unreal! And as for the black woman not being attracted to white men, right back atcha! You're an ugly, fat pig. And the white family was wimpy, liberal black-worshippers. Ironically, the black male teenager was the least repugnant, presumably because he didn't say much.
The interesting part was the white man's reversal: he went from thinking he was going to be called a n*gger (what a distorted view of white people; even the bitter black couple told him that wasn't going to happen,) to thinking that he would be treated courteously as long as he acted in kind. I caught the end of the show and noticed the black guy in white face and the white chick are sitting in the back of a car. The white chick was surprised and a bit offended to find out that the black guys objective was not to prove some sort of racism exists, but to just see if he can pass. She asked him then what his point of being on the show was. When she did this, she unknowingly tipped her hand, and her agenda. I am sure we will see further evidence of this as the series progresses.

It would be funny if the show came crashing down because of this. The black guy just isn't believable with his paranoia. Right he doesn't look like a street guy at all, beyond a stare I doubt he won't experience any racism to his face.
