One way white skill players have a harder time than blacks is they normaly play for second teer teams. The whitest teams like colerodo state dont have the best white linemen, linebakers, and Qbs. Thats the reason White teams like CSU will never be consistontly great. These schoolwill play skill guys but there lines are third rate. All the best white linemen block for the best blacks, andour best Qbs throw to the best blacks receviers. This situation creates the image that teams are not as good because of white skill players, but the reason is the oppositelack of the best white linemen, linebakers, and Qbs. Imagen Kyle Bell behined one of the better white lines like Ohio State or Michigan. Mostly Black teams like FSU get the best Blacks at all positions where as CSU only has good white skill guys who were passed over by big schools. Until the System changes we wont see a white team win national Tital.

You make some very good points.I would have to agree with you that Bell would be even better on a team like Ohio State or Notre Dame.We can only hope that eventually things will change.Athletes like Kyle Bell have to change peoples way of thinking. If he can lead the nation in rushing, that would be a good start.Chance Kretschmer did it,Staley was very close and Bell is capable of doing it.These teams need to open their eyes and give these kids a chance. They are as hungry as can be!

Don't forget about the 2002 Ohio State team that won the national championship, defeating an overwhelmingly black team (in numbers and attitude), Miami. They were close to, if not a majority white team. Heck, they had two white starters in their defensive backfield (Nickey and Fox), an excellent white LB (Wilhelm), whites on the D-line, and Craig Krenzel at QB. If you'll remember, Miami was a huge favorite. This was partly due to the unspoken perception of OSU as a slower (whiter) team. Miami, with its slew of superior athletic talent was supposed to run circles around this unathletic Big10 team from the north. That was one of the sweetest victories in my memory. The only taint is that Maurice Clarett played such a significant role.

Ohio State was a very white team but still had a black Rb and receviors. The whites were playing in their traditional caste role. The team that was an very white powerhouse was Nebraska. For a few years they had an all white offence except for a think two players. Eric Crouch th Qb was the focal point of the run game. Nebraska was the last pairing of a great white line with great white skill players. But sence the husckers decide to sell out the only white teams are playing with half a deck.

Another good post, white tornado. Nebraska in the Crouch era started 16-17 whites and were a powerhouse team. The hiring of Bill Callahan marked the end of Nebraska both as a powerhouse and as a mostly white team.

Ohio State made have had a lot of blacks for offensive skill positions but on denfense is where they broke(and still do) break the caste system. That 2002 team had the following starters on D(all of whom were drafted):
CB Dustin Fox
FS Donnie Nickey
MLB Matt Wilhelm
OLB Robert Reynolds
DT Tim Anderson

I'll never forget leading up to the game in our Ohio newspaper the one columonist wrote "God help Dustin Fox" in referring to Fox's ability to cover the Miami WRs. What a bunch of racist b.s. was that? Fox was all conference that year and a true Soph. starting on a national championship team. Though I had the last laugh when Fox had that great INT in the game.

Excellent, excellent point. I hadn't thought of it that way, but it makes perfect sense. Thank you.

The other relevant point here is the schools who recruit whites usually recruit from a smaller white pool of talent...i.e. Boise State(Idaho), Utah , Colorado State(Colorado) etc.

What happens is the white talent slips through because these schools usually only recruit regionally.

In Minnesota, Suburbian teams win every year and has anyone noticed that teams like St Johns(MN)/UW-Whitewater, North Dakota State and Northern Iowa either win National Championships regularly or get deep into their respective playoffs in DII, DII(North Dakota State just went DI-AA last year) and DI-AA?

We have a wealth of talent in these healthy white communities in the Great White North(or we used to be

)

The other sad fact is the more brothers you begin to intermingle on all white teams you will get a situation where white leaders and honor system won't develop. When you get whites that begin apeing like the brothers you lose the high levels of concentration and execution which adds to the overall athletic acumen of the top class white athlete.

Whites not only create great art, literature, science and civilization when we are left amongst our own people; We also need this same environment to create white dominate teams-just ask the USA black b-ball teams what is was like to play the Germans and Italians at the world championships!

This is the real explanation why white american basketball players don't dominate because they not only don't get recruited to D1 very easily but they don't see themselves behaving or playing like the brothersEdited by: voice
