A lot of great research here to find so many talented running backs - Tyler Gaffney, Rex Burkhead, Hunter Furr, Brandon Wegher, Swope, and so many more.
Just wondering how all these guys rank relative to each other?
Who's the best?, and who's best of the rest?
Any thoughts?

Here's my opine:
The more I watch Rex Burkhead, the more I think he is the second best RB prospect after Trent Richardson for the 2009 H.S class. Rex is probably even better than Bryce Brown. Rex reminds me a bit of truly elite guys like Joe McKnight, Reggie Bush and Sam McGuffie and Trent Richardson of the 2009 H.S class (as far as his lateral agility). Rex has got a truly elite 10 yard burst, he can really truck a defender and break tackles better than McGuffie, McKnight and Bush, he's an elite receiving threat and has superior awareness/ field vision. The only thing Rex doesn't have is and ELITE 2nd gear, although he's probably slightly faster than average for an FBS starter.

Brandon Wegher is probably a top 5 2009 RB and can both slash cut and jump cut. Tyler Gaffney, Ryan Swope (these two and Cierre Wood are similar actually and are slashers) and Mike Trumpy (similar to Burkhead in many regards) look like top 10 2009 RBs.

Hunter Furr should probably be in the Rivals 250 or in the top 30-35 RBs in the country. Michael Campanaro should be in the Rivals 250 as a RB OR CB and so should Beau Blankenship, Shane McCullen and John Howell. These are the top guys I can think of who I have watched lots of highlights of and compared to Rivals (black) 250 RBs.
