Nick Stoner of Indiana has been moved to wr this year. I knew he was returning kicks but I guess Indiana has a serious problem with speed at the wr position. Stoner with his 10.66 100 meter speed should fit the bill. The guy also has unusually long arms so maybe he could develop into another Jarred Abrederis type. I think we are down to about 16 white scholarship corners on about 120 FBS teams. Just pitiful. There was a time not to long ago teams like Arkansas started to white corners in Chris Chalmers and Zac Painter. Wisconsin had Korey Manley and Jeff Messenger. Georgia had 3 in Charles Pledger, Chad Wilson and Chris McCranie. Even Air Force and BYU recently had all white secondaries. Within ten years I think the white corner will be extinct. Its kind of an oxymoron when there has been a small resurgence in the white rb in the NFL and there are a lot of guys coming up the pipeline.

Good news here! James McCaffrey, a sophomore corner for Boston College is 1st team on the spring depth chart. Whats scary is a former walk on, Zach Wolfe from Atlanta , Georgia is listed as a second string corner as well. He was an all state lacrosse player and wrestler so he is athletic but I can't find anything else on him yet. Two white corners on an ACC 2 deep. I hope Satan is getting a jacket right about now.
In bad news , super athletic Kentucky corner back, Daylen Hall has been kicked off the team for unspecified reasons. He is expecting to transfer so there is a good chance he will be playing for another D 1 school.

Apparently 2 black corners are out for the Spring practice which is why Wolfe is in the 2 deep. Lets hope he shines. McCaffrey is reported to have had a great early practice.

Hall was kicked off the team for a dorm fight. I saw a youtube video of him last year tackling a hotel security guard into a pool filled with drunk lunatics on Spring Break. This kid is probably a head case.

Eh you have to be a little crazy when you play a position dominated by real affletes. I am interested to see where he ends up.

Parker Orms has been moved from corner to strong safety for Colorado apparently. More bad news as usual. On the good news front Rutgers cb turned wr, JT Tartacoff has been moved back to defense but only at Free Safety. At least he should garner some playing time.

Daylen Hall is transferring to U. Louisiana-Monroe but to clarify he was not kicked off Kentucky for a dorm fight but rather by punching a police officer at a high school lacrosse game. Good riddance to this kid.
