I agree Bear-Arms. I don't think anti-black songs have been in the mainstream since the 50's, if not before that. I know of guys like Johnny Rebel who recorded segregationist songs in the 60's. They had considerable success, but your lucky if you can find any of their stuff online or for sale anywhere.

NORFOLKâ€â€City Councilman Paul R. Riddick has apologized for using racial slurs last week during a private meeting between the City Council and the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority's Board of Commissioners.
Riddick called Commissioner Robert J. Soble a "cracker" and a "white redneck" during a debate on the racial composition of the housing authority staff, according to several city officials who were present and who asked not to be identified.
Councilman W. Randy Wright, perhaps Riddick's closest ally on the council, said Riddick has a big heart and tends to say things he regrets.
"Paul has a tendency to sometimes speak in a knee-jerk reaction without thinking about what he's saying," he said.
Okay--the next time I use the "N" word, I'll just claim it's because I have a "big heart". Give me a big break, for pete's sake.
Yeah, this is the pattern for American Africans and their constant use of racial slurs for whites: they apologize, give some flimsy excuse for why they said what they said, and ask for forgiveness and "let's all just heal, can we?"
Oh, but let some white person say something remotely racial and ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE. Call out the FBI, the CIA, the NAACP, man the battle stations, notify the lawyers, threaten the boycott,......yadayadayadayada....
I'm on a tear today--some days I just don't tolerate this crap very well. I just shot off a two page letter to my local paper on the border patrol situation and President Bush's (Boosh?) statements I read in an AP article today.

No hate crime charges against the councilman? You can bet your last dollar if the roles were reversed the white guy would be taken to the cleaners for hate crime.
