I just saw a new commercial for the Navy and all 3 of the people profiled in it are black.

I looked for a video link on YouTube, but couldn't find one yet.

There was a time when I was proud to have served in the Navy.

When I see what it is promoted as now, and in the aftermath of a decade of wars in the Middle East with no end in sight, the good feeling goes away gradually each year.

All in all, I think I was smart to get out 15 years ago and not make a career out of it.

Anything and everything in the name of diversity!

and lots of black sailors drowning in the ocean because they are not exactly known for being elite swimmers.

I still say a sequel should be made to the movie "White Men Can't Jump", the new movie would be called " Black Men Can't Swim". Fair is fair gentlemen, surely the blacks would find humor in that kind of movie. Maybe not.
