First, JD1986 I always look forward to you downloading important fights of our fighters. Thanks so much. I was impressed somewhat with Povekin this time. He looked quick and appears to have lost that "baby fat" he carried into the ring last time. I see good things for him if he continues to improve. I still don't think he is ready for Wlad. I would much rather see him fight against a another 2nd tier fighter then call out David Haye.

That would be a good fight and another black hope exposed and destroyed! Haye thinks he is going to get free ride to fight Wlad by beating someone like Sykes. Please.

The commentary on the vids is hilarious.

Sykes, the black "fighter," is "looking for a new dance partner," "he doesn`t want to fight," and on and on.

Another pathetic, sissy black boy who is afraid of a tough, talented, white fighter.

I look forward to seeing Povetkin win the heavyweight title.

The official scoring was a TKO. I disagree with this I am just not sure whether it was KO or an RTD ( refused to fight ) but then Sykes refused to fight for at lest three of the four rounds. It was refreshing to hear announcers talk in glowing terms about a white heavy weight. This fight however tells us nothing about Poevetkin as sykes quit almost from the start. i was impressed by his TKO of c Byrd and his UD over Chambers both men who can and will fight. I would really like to see him fight Sam Peter or Haye before he fights Klitschko for two reasons. One I think he can beat Peter as he has pwer, speed and skill and Peter would be a step up for Povetkin and then the winner of Povetkin-Klitschko would hold three of the four major belts putting great pressure on the holder of the third to fight the Unified title holder. In Hayes case either a lose would shut him up or he would prove he could beat a top quality heavyweight. A Haye fight would also be a big pay day for Povetkin before he faces Vlad who I believe will beat him.

Povetkin seems like he could make cruiserweight with no problems. He is good but is a bit too small for Wlad.

    Wlad KO 9.

Instead of fighting Klitschko I would really like to see Povetkin fight Haye now that he is at heavyweight. Povetkin would absolutely destroy Haye. He is too fast and strong for Haye. This would shut Haye's big mouth and also eliminate him from contender status in the heavyweight division real quick. Povetkin is too inexperienced to be facing Klitschko at this time.

I also think Povetkin should fight cruiser. The bigger mone is obviously at heavyweight. However he is around 220. Also, he has in my opinion a bit of flab he could dispense with around the midsection. That is not a put down to Povetkin as he has a great set of lungs and always fights strong untill the final bell. I am just saying I think he could easily knock 20-25 pounds off with a leaner diet.

I thought Povetkin was Klitschko's mandatory. Is that fight going to happen anytime soon?

Trash talk from Alexander's opponent Jason Estrada.

    Estrada: Povetkin a sitting duck!

U.S. Olympian heavyweight Jason "Big Six" Estrada (15-1, 3 KOs) had some tough talk for Alexander Povetkin (16-0, 12 KOs), the unbeaten 2004 Olympic gold medalist and IBF #1 contender, whom he meets April 4 in Dusseldorf, Germany. Povetkin has a mandated title shot this fall against IBF heavyweight Wladimir Klitschko, if he gets past Estrada. "The fight's on April 4 but Povetkin's the April Fool," Estrada said during a break from training at his Big Six Academy in Providence, RI. "I really see this guy as just a big-name opponent. He has his gold medal but he's been babied his entire career. They just put guys in front of him to fight. He's making a big mistake taking this fight. I'm not dwelling on the past. The old stuff doesn't matter to me; I'm focusing on the present. It doesn't upset me that people are calling this a tune-up for him. If the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn't take him lightly, but they're making a huge mistake if they're taking me lightly. I think it will be easier fighting him today than in the amateurs because he had to box a little more back then. You don't see him boxing now. He's a sitting duck. This (pro boxing) is a whole different game, something I learned in my first fight and I've progressed from there. He's got the same stuff. Our fight didn't happen in the amateurs, so I'm focused on beating him as a pro. I can't see how he took this fight. His people must be telling him I'm just fast, like (Eddie) Chambers or (Chris) Byrd, but I'm more aggressive and they weren't. I'm not worried about going over there because, if I smash him and lose, everybody will see that. No way I'm going to lose; I'm either going to stop him, or I'll deserve a win by decision. He can't prepare for what I'm bringing."

These "bruvas" really need to grow up. Why is it that every single one of them talks trash before a fight or game? This guy Estrada has only knocked out 3 fighters in his 17 fights.Edited by: whiteathlete33

I've seen Estrada before. He's a bit like a less skilled Eddie Chambers really. Pretty fast hands, less power than Chambers, was fat and out of shape when I saw him. I don't think Povetkin will stop him, because I see Estrada not really fighting much. Povetkin will win easily though.

Hopefully there will be a stream where we can watch Estrada-Povetkin and Sosnowski-Pianeta.

Can't be, because the fight's in Germany.

No, he's just being childish. He probably has the intelligence of an eight year old boy.

By the way, the first 14 of Povetkin's professional fights are here:

    first 14 complete Povetkin fights

Only problem is, they download very slowly from this site, but most of them are of excellent quality, much better than YouTube.

It's being televised by ARD (Germany) and Setanta (UK), as well as in Russia so there's a good chance we'll find a stream.

Perhaps there will be an English language Sentanta stream here:

    Povetkin vs. Estrada

Here three links to potential Russian streams:

    Stream 1

    Stream 2

    Stream 3

I think the first one is the best. If I find anything else, I'll post it here.

Just one fight, Pianeta vs. Sosnowski.

It switches back to football between rounds. [IMG]

It's staying on football now, but I'm hoping they'll show the Povetkin fight a half-hour from now.Edited by: JD1986
