Adam Gemili aims to open his own season this weekend at a low-key meeting in Derby and then compete at the European under-23 trials in Bedford with the aim of doubling up at two championships again this summer.

Adam won that race verry easily with a time of 10.28,not really fast but is ok for his first race and i dont know the wind.He will race soon to qualify at under 23 european i think he will run there under 10.2

Adam gemili won today final of u23 trials in a time of 10.09 on 2.3 tailwind. A good result for this moment,i hope at his peak in this season he will run sub 10 at least once on legal wind

Gemili run at u23 trials a 20.30 in 200m on 0.8 wind! A verry good time and a pb for his first 200m race so he is in a good shape:D

Thanks for all of the great updates guys. Adam Gemeli is the premier sprinter in Great Britain already at just 19 years young. Hopefully he will inspire some of the other guys to step up their level of performance. To be honest though, Gemeli just was born to run. He has the perfect genetics for it. Just like Lemaitre, you can just see that some guys are a natural.

sub 10 club and times and frustration

It's great that Gemeli is now in the sub 20 club, but we badly need him in the sub 10 club. Obviously he has more than enough talent to make it in, but it's HARD waiting.

I'm hoping the Chinese runner breaks in soon.

Hari may be the greatest of them all, but we have to wait. :(

I wish there were more meets, more chances than all this emphasis on one big meet.

And I have to put that Lemaitre was running 19.6 in practice out of my mind.
