Since 2005, TCU has started 10, 8, 9, 8, 9, 11, 8, 10, 7, 4, 3, 5, 4, 5, 5, 3, and 4. In 2020 they are projected to start 4 again.

TCU finally has an established quarterback in Max Duggan after switching QB’s non stop for the last 5 years or so. A couple defensive players are backups but wouldn’t expect to see huge contributions from them. Not a very interesting team to watch.

Players to watch: QB Matthew Downing, C Coy McMillan, OT Garrett Hayes, DE Colt Ellison, LB Wyatt Harris, LB Zach Marcheselli

OFFENSE
QB Max Duggan (JR)
TE Carter Ware (SR)
LG John Lanz (JR)
RG Wes Harris (SR) or Blake Hickey (SR)

DEFENSE
none

Nice write up and agreed. Besides from their dual threat QB in Duggan, not a whole lot to cheer for. TCU has had their share of stalwart defenders over the years for us though.

Another team that experiences the double digit drop off at the same time as Ohio St.

Patterson out as head coach of TCU. He had some White friendly teams during the first half of his tenure before TCU experienced the White decline that occurred at the same time as many other college programs. I wonder if he is in the running for the LSU or USC jobs.

Patterson had a good run, but fell off last 5-10 years. It will be interesting to see where he ends up and who takes over TCU.
