Definitely good to see Horvath out there and he scored his 2nd TD of the year. Purdue wisely ran the ball more in beating Nebraska. Let's hope Horvath gets a TD every game down the stretch.

PS Frost has done a lot of good things roster wise besides blindly and stupidly sticking by his black quarterback.. Looks like Martinez will be his downfall and Frost deserves it as he sits idly by and watches the turnover machine turn it over every Saturday.

How did Horvath look? His ypc was lower than normal.
Horvath looked fine and ready to go, there just was no room to go like Bucky mentioned. The Purdue RB’s didn’t really lose yards on many runs but they just didn’t go far. And yes Horvaths hurdle was nice! Not bad for a guy in his first game back from a broken leg.

Hopefully they keep using Anthrop at RB, it was cool watching them switch between big powerful Horvath and the small shifty Anthrop in the backfield.

I wish they would give Horvath 30 carries and see what he could do.

Great write up as usual. It's too bad the site was down yesterday due to a DDOS flood attack.

MACtion starts this week too so that is why so many MAC teams were not playing yesterday.

Alabama somehow goes up to number 3 even though they have a loss. Michigan St is number 5 and Oklahoma remains in the top 4. Sure these rankings will change but they are also taken into consideration when the corrupt comittee decides on which teams will be selected.

Maybe im wrong, but Horvath would be better used running from formations other than shotgun (beside the QB). A tall, heavy RB requires more steps to Pick up speed. Single back or pistol would suit him better, cos he would have more momentum once hes the line of scrimmage.

Or am I wrong?

I think your right! A formation like this would be ideal.
