Getting home here in a bit and plan on watching Miami vs Ohio! Looking forward to seeing Sorenson in action.

Evans at least has established himself as the goal line back!

several White safeties getting some run in this Miami (Ohio)-Ohio game, including the VERY big Sterling Weatherford (6-foot-4, 215lbs) for the RedHawks. he’s flown under the radar, but he’s had a very good career at Miami(Ohio).

Sorenson is apparently the only wideout worth a crap for the RedHawks. these affletic dudes they trot out there are trash.

in another Maction game, Samson Evans is showing off an all around game for Eastern Michigan, throwing a touchdown pass and hauling in a big reception in addition to running the ball.

Yessir Miami(OH) is fun to watch on Defense. Salopek and Weatherford making nearly every tackle. Offensively they need to get it going. Sorenson has looked good on the targets hes had
(4 for 65)

Sorenson has been WIDE open nearly all night (seems we have heard that a LOT about White wideouts this season?), but strangely he’s not the primary read on very many passing plays. it’s weird. his quarterback didn’t help him much in the first half, either, badly missing him on a couple of targets, as well.

the announcers have been raving about him all game, singing his praises about his ability to get open against press coverage, double coverage, and zone coverage. hard to argue with that from what i’ve seen, but it’s surprising to hear that on an ESPN broadcast.

Sorenson is a very crafty route runner, Ha!

Gabbert needs to step his play up in 2nd half.

For Ohio there is another Rourke leading their offense in Nathan's little brother, Kurtis. He's been the main reason for Ohio playing so well. 14 of 18 for 160 and a TD.

Steele is playing well tonight at RB for Ball State. He's a big dude and only a freshman. Even though he is from Big Ten country no Big Ten team wanted him as an RB. He should be a dominant force in the MAC for the next four seasons.

So glad he turned down the PWO from Indiana! Turning into a Star as a Freshman for Ball State! I'd like to see them keep up the trend of recruiting overachieving, Blue Collared Boys at RB. Speaking of IU, Maybe they can lure Spegal over as a transfer.

Bummed Miami(OH) didn't show up tonight. Wanted to see them come Bowl Season.

Switched over to EMU VS Toledo. Beydoun and Knue are the caste breakers at WR and Evans getting short yard carries as a RB. They're 5-3 so should be able to see them come Bowl Season! QB Ben Bryant has had a nice Sr year for EMU. May be playing himself into late Rd/UDFA status @Leonardfan ?

Weatherford with a rare mistake gets beat for a touchdown. Ohio is playing like world beaters so far tonight, but then they turn around and give up a quick score on a far-too-common low-effort-tackle-attempt by a defensive black. bumps (attempted tackles?) like that would get you benched at every majority-White high school program in the country.

Weatherford back to his normal self on the next series breaks up a pass with a BIG hit. Miami forces a 3-and-out and could make things interesting if they score here.

touchdown Sorenson!

Sorenson is unstoppable unless his own offense does it. by my reckoning, he’s been open on every route he’s run minus one into double coverage. he’s been double covered (but still open!) nearly all night.

Haven't really followed Bryant or EMU too close to be honest - they haven't played Evans enough/let him carry the ball and I think this is Knue's first game this year. Bryant may have the extra covid year so he could still come back. The easy lazy comparison is Brogan Roback who stuck around the NFL as a camp arm.

Some serious MAC tion! RB Samson Evans just scored a TD...Showed some serious intensity afterwards!

Sterling Weatherford just lowered the BOOM on the QB! Textbook stuff! Looks like the Tallest player on the entire Defense playing Safety!
Made sure to include him here & CF in the DB Thread

Nice to see Carson Steele ( 28-154 + 5 yard TD catch ) sorry i missed the game & Jack Sorenson (12 -184 - 1) Monster games!!!
Nice to see Tanner Knue finally back in the line up! He has that sneaky speed!

HUGE game for Jack Sorenson last night, 14 catches, 283 yards, and 2 TD’s. Now he is sitting right below 1000 yards. I could be wrong but I believe that’s the most yards by any FBS player in a game this season.

He’s on his way to a one thousand yard season! Really hope he gets drafted.

Wow, that is fantastic. Hope this helps put him on the draft radar.

Tucker Gregg and Georgia State take on UL Lafayette tonight. Gregg is sitting at 550 rushing yards on the season.

Ridiculous performance from Sorenson. I caught the first half but man I missed a show in the 2nd. After that monster performance he's 4th in the Nation for Receiving Yards.

As Bucky said earlier, Ga St and Tucker Gregg is on now.....Tune in gang....
Gregg shares carries with another back. Of course, the announcer said that the other back is more explosive and Gregg has a nice story on how he’s got playing time.....
Typical script.

Announcer also called Gregg as blue collar as you can get. ....and the Georgia State white LB who got to the tackle quicker than black LB was called not the most athletic of LB's, but plays smart.
