White starters from 2005 are 9,7,7,10,11,10,10,8,7,7,6,7, 6 and roughly 6 this year too.

I miss having Phil Steele's mag by my side as I don't entirely trust sources I have been looking at with their conflicting starting line ups. The QB position is back in Sam Hartman's hands and over the course of the next two years we will see if he is NFL material or not. Showed very nice flashes as a freshman two years back and has excellent mobility. Huge buzz in camp for red shirt freshmen WRs Taylor Morin and Nolan Groulx. Morin has excellent speed and should see the playing field and looks to be their punt returner. Groulx was a heralded recruit and it will be every interesting to see how he fares. His quickness is very Wes Welker like. Speedy freshman WR Jackson Hensley actually was going to Harvard but switched. S Luke Masterson is a bit of a hybrid but got banged up last season. When he did play he was terrific. The defense lacks white players across the board. However they brought in a freshman DB Nick Anderson who had a great camp. I am not kidding when I say he played maybe six or seven sports in high school. One to look for down the road. Wake opens at home against Clemson this Saturday on ABC in an evening showcase game.

Players to watch: QB Michael Kern, WR Taylor Morin, TE Blake Whiteheart, OL George Sell, LB Chase Monroe.

QB Sam Hartman (SO)
WR Nolan Groulx (FR)
TE Brandon Chapman (SR)
OT Allen Rappleyea (JR)
OC Michael Jurgens (SO)
