Since 2005, TCU has started 10, 8, 9, 8, 9, 11, 8, 10, 7, 4, 3, 5, 4, 5, 5, and 3. In 2020 they look to be at 4 white starters.

TCU is starting to look better with some exciting players on defense. Presumed starter Max Duggan was diagnosed with a heart condition earlier this year and likely won't be playing, which opens the door for Georgia transfer Matt Downing. High school teammates Wyatt Harris and Colt Ellison look to be full time starters as sophomores with some 2nd string players likely to see some playing time in Parker Workman and Ben Wilson. There are 11 white receivers on the team but I highly doubt any of them will ever see the field besides scholarship freshman Blake Nowell.

****updated once the depth chart came out****
2 presumed OL starters are backups.
Presumed defensive starter LB Wyatt Harris is listed as Wallow’s backup, presumed DE starter Colt Ellison is listed at 3rd string with Parker Workman earning a starting job. So this team will actually be at 4 white starters in 2020.

Players to watch:
OG John Lanz, OG Coy McMillan, OT TJ Storment TE Carter Ware, DE Colt Ellison, LB Ben Wilson, LB Zach Marcheselli, LB Wyatt Harris

OFFENSE
QB Matt Downing (SO) or Max Duggan (SO)
LG Wes Harris (JR)

DEFENSE
DE Parker Workman (SR)
LB Garret Wallow (SR)

Nice work! TCU will be a team to somewhat root for this year.

Definitely more promising than last couple years. Interesting last time they had more White Starters, they were good.

Thanks Red raider. Too bad about QB Duggan. He adds a dash of excitement. But speaking of excitement all three of their white defenders are athletic and quick. I like that. As always with them their offensive skill position players remains barren.

Hybrid Linebacker Garrett Wallow is an NFL prospect! Led the Big 12 in Tackles last season. Gained nearly 20lbs since arriving on campus as a Freshman. From NOLA.

Looks like the TCU/SMU game this coming weekend has been postponed.

The depth chart came out and this team went from 7 white starters to actually 4. Yeah TCU is a joke and is not worth watching besides high draft pick Garret Wallow.
