Re: Jaguars defense

Didn't they draft a DE 7th overall in 2019 who was primed for a breakout year? Why yes, yes they did! DE Josh Allen from that powerhouse Kentucky and he has a whole 2.5 sacks this season and 5 solo tackles/11 total tackles...dat upsidee!!!!!@!#@#!#@@#

It's still upper-tier by the abysmal standards of the current NFL, but Wingard's snaps have been cut back big time - he was getting 60%-65% at the beginning of the season.

Wingard is just back from injured reserve this game. Could be a snap count thing.

Billy Turner with two penalties this game...I know @Tannehill17 is getting a kick out of that!

Dink and Dunk Teddy with an INT to the 4 fingered Jason Pierre Paul. Bucs look to be pulling away now.

Jaguars and Packers tied up 17-17. I hope the Jaguars win.

The Packers are trending toward an all black team. They deserve to lose.

Just got home from errands. Watching Giants vs Eagles. I’ll try to provide any worthwhile updates.

Slow morning for games. Things may pick up in the afternoon with six games scheduled.

Man, sure do miss watching CMC play - the league is sorely lacking when he is out. Pretty much a wasted season for him... bummer as running backs usually have such a short shelf life.

Looking forward to Rex Burkhead tonight. I predict he will play well.

I see the Bears activated Lamar Miller... of course someone who hasn’t play in two years is a better option than the human recking ball they already have in their roster - bigger and faster and more agile than Montgomery the starter. What’s the difference? Oh yeah - Miller and Montgomery are black and Nall is a white man. Can’t have the white man showing the black boys up can we??

I'm sticking to what I've said. I will not watch the NFL. Therefore, I can't provide any commentary. I was channel surfing earlier and caught just a glimpse of Gronk's 44 yard reception against the Panthers. BTW Leonardfan, I replied to your question about Sam Howell. Did you get it this time? If not, I don't know what else to do?
Been watching some of The Masters where Dustin Johnson destroyed the field!

I wouldn't have known who Colin Thompson was either if I hadn't done the write-up for the Panthers. He is one of only 9 White men on their 53-man roster.

Great for him that his first NFL touch was a touchdown. I remember Andy Janovich's first carry in the NFL being a touchdown. Those are always cool moments.

Got Buc's Panthers game here, always good to see Brady and Gronkowski doing work but no Mcaffrey again is a downer for sure

I got it..thank you sir! And I respect that some folks have decided against watching the NFL but a lot of members have not made such a vow so it is disappointing to see a lack of activity knowing how close we came to having Don decide to shut down the site. This goes for the college football thread too! We have to keep this site going! I am doing what I can on other sites to pull in traffic, I enjoy this site and respect all the members of it but we need to make an effort to keep it alive!

Coal-black Houston still with 0 points in the 4th quarter. Very satisfying, not gonna lie.

Rogers sure does force feed Adams the ball... 12 targets so far! Did Jordy ever have a game where he got so many targets? Doubtful.

Let's compare the athleticism of Nall and Montgomery. ( My computer doesn't seem to want me to align these up)

Ht, Wt. 40 20 10 225 VJ BJ SS 3C

Nall 6021 232 4.58 2.67 1.61 15 33.0 1002 4.16 6.95

Montgomery 5101 222 4.63 2.70 1.61 15 28.5 1001 4.23 6.93

Nall is bigger, faster and more athletic than Montgomery.

Adams is a volume target guy - even when Jordy was there the ball was forced to Adams. Adams is a good WR but not a dominant WR by any stretch of the imagination.

I'll be sharing that comparison out tomorrow night on twitter to all the Chicago DWFs!

Knowing the Panthers demographics, they would not have been my first or even 15th guess....
