Not a must see game by any stretch tonight but UAB takes on Miami. Every year Miami is hyped - this year is no exception. Hopefully UAB pulls off the upset.

Everything is not going off smoothly. As mentioned previously tonight's game SMU-TCU was postponed. Two other games involving Big 12 teams Oklahoma State and Baylor, both scheduled for TV tomorrow, have also been dropped.

Usually on football Saturdays I have to switch channels around like crazy trying to keep up with multiple games. But with the Big Ten out of the equation and some other teams MIA strangely this Saturday there only are few games that interest me.

For what it is worth I only watch games that aren't caste havens. So I won't watch Florida State-GT for one second.

I'll start my couch potato day off ( time to pull out my little stationary bike ha) watching two morning Premier League soccer matches as their season kicks off tomorrow.

As for football at noon I will lean more towards the Kansas State game but will keep track of the Iowa State game too.

At 2:30 I will also tune into Notre Dame. Then the only game left and the one I want to see the most is the 7:30 Clemson/Wake Forest tilt.

The US Open tennis women's final is at 4:00 so that gets into the mix too. MLB, NBA and NHL are only on the back burner. Too many sports on at once. Cripes went from nothing to everything all at once. Even the women are playing a major in golf this weekend.

That's it. No Big Ten is a big blow but on the bright side there is less chance of getting a headache switching around channels all the time. Maybe the late start Big Ten will work out better for viewers like me? And by the way for all the talk about the SEC and their foot to the pedal regarding playing they have yet to set their feet on the field and won't until the last Saturday in September. Not exactly roaring out of the gate.

I see that LF noted that McChesney is out for the season with a foot injury....That really sucks. How far down the line is Bruce Garrett? McChesney only got garbage time anyway.....Makes me wander how many carries Bruce will ever get.....I just wanted to post this on here in case no one saw that on the BYU thread.....

Kansas St- Arkansas St tomorrow afternoon, National tv....
Harry Trotter should start for K State
Ryan Graham and the freshman kid (Pare) should get carries for Ark St
Much watch for running back fans......,
I believe it’s noon eastern time....

Over/Under on Trotter I set at 20-90-1
Over/under on Graham/Pare. 8-30–0

Hopefully they both crush my abysmal goals.........

Last week Arkansas State player TW Ayers caught a TD pass at tight end and he just recorded a sack against K-State. He’s listed as TE, guess he is playing both ways this year!

RB’s Harry Trotter, Ryan Graham, and Lincoln Pare already with carries in the game, interesting to watch with quite a few white defenders and 3 RB’s to see touches. Not to mention Arkansas State also has slot receiver/kick returner Brandon Bowling. DE Wyatt Hubert with a sack already, he should be a top 100 draft pick when he declares!

UNC TE Garret Walston with their first TD of the year!

Awesome news about Ayers! Love 2way players.

Just tuned in to see Trotter with consecutive carries! Good to hear Pare and Graham have been involved as well.

That sucks, as long as there isn't a 3rd upsider in the rotation Im hoping Trotter keeps getting carries. He hasnt done anything yet, but this Arkansas defense will crack wide open shortly.

Thompson is dealing for K-State right now. Looks good. Neither team has had success on the ground, both teams have stout Front 7s.

I'd like to see them utilize Trotter a bit more in passing game if they can't clear some lanes for him!

The half time crew for K-State said that they must feature their new break out star 5 foot 5 inch RB in the 2nd half. A bit of a stretch, yet predictable. The O-line has sucked creating a nightmarish start for Trotter.

Huge 58 yard run by Lincoln Pare, broke a few tackles and showed off his speed! He’s only a true freshman, expect to hear his name a lot in the next few years.

Then it’s followed by a TD from Alabama transfer TE Giles Amos!

Appalachian State WR Thomas Hennigan who is a 4 year starter just scored a 52 yard touchdown. If he isn’t in the NFL next year then I don’t know what an NFL wide receiver is, he is approaching 2000 career receiving yards, returns punts, is 6’1” 210lbs, and is great on special teams in general.

Landen Akers sighting, Purdy just targeted him deep down the field but he overthrew it. I hope they can get Akers more involved this year. He probably runs around a 4.35.

WVU has both of their slot receivers suspended for this game so true freshman Reese Smith got the start, he has 2 catches for 10 yards. His backup fellow freshman Graeson Malashevich just recorded his first catch for 30 yards with a nice run after catch. Guys, it’s early in the season but it looks like we have a decent amount of skill position guys on offense to watch this year.

Arkansas State is really putting on a show. White athletes all over the field.
Yeah I’ve never really payed much attention to Arkansas State but they will definitely be a team to watch this year. 2 white RB’s, 3 TE’s, a WR, 2 QB’s and multiple LB’s and DL to watch. If only they had a DB to watch too!

Can’t believe Iowa St got upset. On the bright side WR Peter Leblanc has a long TD reception for Louisiana!

I’ve been watching the entire game K St/Ark St.
It took until the fourth quarter to pitch the ball to Trotter...
Everything up the middle. The line has been struggling.
Good to see Pare run well.....if K State can’t run block vs Ark St, it’ll be tough sledding against the bigger teams. The season is young....
