Since 2006, Western Kentucky has started 13, 11, 10, 13, 10, 9, 4, 5, 8, 4, 4 and 8 White players (no writeup in 2013). In 2019 they look to start 6.

QB looks to be up in the air - Arkansas transfer Ty Storey is believed to be the favorite but had a shaky spring game. It sounds like Steven Duncan and Davis Shanley are both in the running as well. Also their highly touted black quarterback recruit from last year was reported to have the worst spring game of any of the QBs. Shanley who played some last year was the best performed.
The black quarterback - Kevaris Thomas threw for 1606 yds, 16 tds and rushed for 282 yds and three Tds - he was labeled as a 4 star recruit :bash::bash::rolleyes:. As of now it does not look like he is going to be in the mix for the starting position.

TE Kyle Fourtenbary has been named to the Mackey watch list - hopefully he puts up some big numbers.

Former coach Mike Sanford was fired after two losing seasons - he recruited the black quarterback mentioned above. Don't worry though caste whore extraordinaire Gary Andersen scooped up this caste clown and hired him at Utah St.

Players to watch for include TE Steven Witchoskey, DE Carson Jordan, LB Clay Davis, LB Rex Henderson, Freshman DB Clayton Bush who had a very good spring camp and should see the field this year if they do not red shirt him.

Offense
