Since 2005, Washington started 6, 8, 9, 8, 8, 6, 5, 4, 6, 8, 9, and 11 white players, excluding 2014 where no write-up was done. In 2019 they project to decrease to 8; many of their 2018 starters were seniors.

Chris Petersen resigns as head coach. Black DC has been given the position.

Petersen is one of the most white friendly coaches in the modern era. It will be interesting to see how his successor will do in recruiting - I am sure we can all assume how we think it will go.

On the draft side of things - I have to wonder if Eason declares.
