What is with these German male athletes always choking?? Any theories? I mean, it is a consistent pattern.

Sexton went out too fast into a negative wind. Perhaps if the wind was behind his back he could have held the lead. Anyway, he had a great season as the Irish high school champ in the 100m and 200m. I think he set the all-time record in both. However, he has already committed to be a rugby player next year.

Yes, it does seem to happen over and over, in both the junior and senior ranks.

Joshua Zeller of Britain and Tilde Johansson of Sweden were convincing winners in the short hurdle races at the Euro U20 Champs.
    All medalists were white Europeans.
Tilde Johansson is also one of the favorites in women's long jump.

Eduardo Scotti of Italy and Polina Miller of Russia were dominate winners in the 400m.
Italian sprinters are doing very well at this championship. They won both the men's and women's 100m, the men's 400m, and bronze in the men's 200m.

In London today we had Adam Gemeli run a seasons best of 10.04! Very nice to see him getting back to the elite level. Gemeli has the natural talent to compete for medals over
100 & 200 meters but has had an up and down career, Injuries, Coaching, Diet, etc. Not sure why but he has underacheived. Hope he can finish the season out strong.

Yuki Koike got a 9.98 (+0.5 wind) for 4th place in London. The Japanese relay team will threaten the US and Jamaica in any international meet.

Yeah I apologize. I read it wrong. Only got 2 hours sleep last night. Very tired. I saw the p.b. instead of his result. Gemili did run great though as well as Koike from Japan.

Just watched the race on youtube. Koike was leading the race up until about 85 or 90 meters. Very impressive!
Watch the slow motion towards the end of the clip.

Outstanding race by Koike. You should post this video also in the asian sprinters thread. I love how sprinting is not what it was just a decade ago. Things are changing
fast and it's about damn time. Jon Entine can take his book and flush it down the toilet.

I just want to add that we have seen some great young athletes from around the world. Italy, England, Swedish German, Norway and a few others
are realing starting to pump out world class caliber athletes. Such exciting times in track and field. Even the U.S. is becoming alot more watchable in
the last 4 to 6 years. This trend is wonderful to watch. Whites need to have white role models in sports.

The Swiss Girl who won the 100 hurdles and long jump is amazing to watch. Need to post some videos of that!

    Swedish, not Swiss.
She should take gold or silver in the long jump, but her performance was so strong in the hurdles, the announcers said that might need to become her main focus.
Let's see what happens in the long jump.

Like boling...hunt is a phenom ....quite confidence .....really disappointed with Aaron sexton ...this young man has allot of talent ....he must decide track or rugby ....some Brit athletics aficionados have commented on sexton ,,and reckon the lad has some serious talent ...but needs some real coaching in relation to track as he has been training as a rugby player ...both not necessarily conducive to each other ...sexton although running for Ireland is from ulster ( NI) and therefore qualifies for GB....so he may need to think about funding if he decides to go sprinting full timec

As said by white lightning ......Ehammer the Swiss ...decathlete winner ...this guy is one to watch for the future.....certainly a lot of white talent coming through .....never underestimate somebody like Christophe lemaitres influence on young white athletes in Europe ....he and guliyev have given confidence and roll model aspects to many up and comers ....

I was glad to see Germany take the gold in the 4 x 100 Relay. England was 2nd and Italy 3rd. Germany had 3 of 4 sprinters. They have alot of serious talent from 18 to 22 so the future should be bright as well as England and Italy. I just hate seeing so many teams not look like they should. China and Japan don't do that. They are proud of thier people and their culture as they should be. Europeans need to quit litstening to the E.U. and their puppet leaders and get more back to nationalism and be proud of their culture. You don't have to hate others to embrace your european culture and traditions.

I see Israel is importing from Africa as well now. On a positive note Amy Hunt looks very very good, I would love to have seen her in the 100m as well.

Amy Hunt took home another Gold, this one in the 4x100, running a powerful second leg. i still haven’t learned why she didn’t run the individual 100 (where she was the clear favorite), but still it was a very successful weekend for the gifted youngster.

the future of White athletes in the short sprints is brighter than at any other time since i’ve been alive.
