Buffalo did make alot of mistakes, but that call was huge. If that call isn't made, then Buffalo attempts a 55 yard FG on the next play, which is shorter than Hauschka's longest FG of the year. And he also was 4/4 on the day, so he was having a good day kicking the ball. And the penalty was marginal at best, yet it was the difference in whether Buffalo could attempt a game-winning FG or not.

Actually, it was a magical play by Watson according to an announcer. Could he have escaped the tacklers of 30 years ago?

And you can put "magical" in the HOF of upsider attributes right up there with "room brightening smile."

TE Firkser with the TD. An Ivy League player. Maybe the NFL should give that conference more attention.

Also another white tight end. White men dominate that position!

NE has to make adjustments on the D-Line. TENN drove them hard on the first series.

Edelman with a first down. Burkhead having a good game so far.

NE D-line has to tighten up. Henry already has over 100 yds.

Derrick Henry is having a huge game. NE better find a way to stop him.

As predicted, Henry is running all over the Patriots, while they couldn’t punch it in from the 1 yard line in 3 tries.

Whatever questionable calls the refs may have made, the Bills had ample opportunities to put the game away and failed to take advantage of any of them. The usual suspects will try to blame it all on Josh Allen, but that is of course completely unfair as there's plenty of blame to go around, from receivers dropping passes to poor play by the sumo-dominated O-line to the defense failing to make a stop when it mattered most. Allen has a bright future; he was a raw talent when he entered the league and he's getting better each year.

Good to have a white QB like Ryan Tannehill put the Pats out of their misery instead of getting destroyed by Mahomes next week at KC.

And who knows, maybe TN can give BAL a decent game next week. The AFC playoffs are largely unwatchable from here on out.

Looks like the Patriots will not win this game. If this is the end of the line for Tom Brady, then it has truly been awesome watching him these past 20 years. The greatest quarterback of all time in the NFL, hands down. Maybe the greatest athlete of all time, and I don't think I'm being hyperbolic.

Looks like the Patriots will lose. On the bright side how would it look if they won another Super bowl the year after they jettisoned Amendola and Hogan while Gronk retired? I could see if Burkhead was used as a number 1 back but he isn't. And the big change in Tennessee has been the emergence of Ryan Tannehill. Not such a sad lose. I hope Brady returns and gets a couple of our guys back instead of the sad sack of a receiving core he has now.

Still the GOAT, and a great run. The receiving corps was their undoing.

Congrats to the G.O.A.T. Brady is the best even if he never plays again. I think he will come back with the Pats for 2 more years. I hope so. If not what memories we have of this legend!

The Pats had a great, great, phenomenal run. It's probably the greatest in the modern sports era post salary cap especially. We've seen the greatest quarterback of all time without a doubt.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Brady - he is the best QB of all time and his supporting cast this season is too blame more than anything else. If they believe in Stidham they might sign Brady back for a year or two as a bridge QB.

Belichek's track record with drafting - especially on offense is not good and this year was no exception. As Kaptain mentioned - Hogan and Amendola were both run out of town and the Pats answer to Gronk retiring was bringing in Ben Watson. McDaniel's may be the coach in waiting but who knows how much longer Belichek will remain at the helm in New England.

I don't want to jinx the Titans - they are at least a team built for the playoffs and I think can match up against any of the remaining AFC teams. The nauseating Watson hype will continue next week and be heaped upon the the other two quotabacks in the AFC as well. I am hoping Tannehill can rain on the quotaback parade.

Apart from the fact the Pats couldn't punch it in on the one yard line which is inexcusable it just felt like they got beat in a scrum. As reported their offense stumbled throughout the year but their "vaunted" defense got worse as the season wore on.

But the Bills game was more frustrating. Is it me or was their play calling late in the game and in overtime atrocious? All inert crap and then some heave a bomb to the fullback? They couldn't slip Beasley loose late?

Last year I was never sold on the idea they have a great defense. Solid average. How could they give up 18 yards on that key third down play and then let Watson wiggle out and make the play of the game? They remind me a bit like the Bears defense last year that when they really needed to bear down they got sloppy. Both Trent Murphy (2 sacks) and Matt Milano played hard but they were in a great position to win and they let it slip away.

Their excellent field goal kicker was primed to win it for them and they just couldn't cross that red line.

Brady and the Pat's offense used to put in clinics. Lately though it has looked like they need to go to some kind of clinic for help.

On a side note I'm thinking of changing my handle to The Hock Roman Numeral One.

Tom Brady came into this league in a completely cut throat disrespectful manner of his treatment of Drew Bledsoe. I will never forget his sideline actions of Alpha-ing an old classy vet.

Its great he has had an unmatchable career with a bunch of white WR’s and probably the greatest TE of all time. Having that been said I hope he goes out crying like the punk that he is as a new QB comes in and plants his but on the bench.
