Since 2005, Maryland has started 4, 5, 5, 4, 4, 10, 8, 9, 8, 6, 7, 3 and 4 white players (excluding 2015 where there was no write-up). They potentially start 5 in 2019.


My guess is this team is going to look more like an HBCU than ever before. Mike Locksley has been a failure as a head coach in his other stints. He was essentially gifted the job after last year's scandal with DJ Durkin and the athletic trainer due to one of the players dying after practice. Maryland needed a "players coach" (ie a black coach). He has a career coaching record of 3-31.

Lol Maryland is a joke in The Big Ten, almost As bad as Rutgers. Big Ten was hell bent on tapping into East Coast market though.. Locksley's son was just arrested this summer on gun charges. This Terps team is going to be a mess with him at the helm. 3-31?! Unreal anybody could land a Power 5 job with that horseshit record.
