Since ’05, Boston College has started 10, 12, 13, 12, 13, 12, 11, 14 11 13, 13, 13, 10 and 12 Whites. In 2019 they are projected to start 10.

Addazio is sticking to his mediocre black quarterback which has caused attrition on the roster as highly rated QB Matt McDonald transferred to Bowling Green, EJ Perry has left the team - rumor has it he is going to the Ivy League, QB Johnny Langan (26th rated dual threat QB in 2018) moves on to Rutgers (he was just granted immediate eligibility). A lot of talent leaving BC while an average/below average QB is once again gifted the starting job. QB Matt Valecce did have a strong spring game so maybe Addazio with give up the black quarterback fetish this year but seeing all the attrition - that is highly unlikely.

Glines is projected to rotate between RB and WR but all projections look to have him getting minimal carries and considering the QB play his receiving yards will probably not be great. Hopefully he makes explosive plays on what look to be minimal chances (thanks to the caste system).

Players to watch for include QB Matt Valecce, WR Christian McStravick, DT Ryan Betro, LB Vinny DePalma, LB Joseph Sparacio, LB Nick Denucci, LB Paul Theobald, LB Evan Stewart (converted DB - was top Safety prospect in NJ), DB Nolan Borgersen.

Two freshman DBs to keep an eye in the future are Connor Grieco (#1 rated safety in NJ) and DB Steve Lubischer (converted QB)

Denucci, DePalma, Sparacio, Stewart and the two DBs mentioned are all RS Freshmen or true freshman so it will be interesting to see how they are brought along - hopefully the LBs at least see the field this year as the LBs in front of them on the depth chart are nothing to write home about.

Offense

TE - Jake Burt
TE - Chris Garrison
LT - Ben Petrula
C - Alec Lindstrom
RG - John Phillips

Boston College redshirt junior QB Anthony Brown has entered his name into the transfer portal, as first reported by SEC Network's Cole Cubelic.
Brown (6'2/220) struggled with injuries throughout his time at Boston College, as two of his three seasons on the field came to a premature end due to health issues. In three seasons in Chestnut Hill, the redshirt junior completed 54.9% of his passes, throwing for 4,738 yards and 40 touchdowns with 20 interceptions. Brown also accounted for 421 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns in three seasons at Boston College.

Another afflete with an inflated self worth - if he was a better player than the coach who coddled him and gifted him the job each year would still be the head coach.

Now he'll be gifted another job elsewhere.

BC named the Co-OC of Ohio St as their new head coach. Judging from every other coach who has worked under Urban Meyer this won't go well especially for a team white a decent track record of recruiting and playing white athletes. My guess is he is going to double down on the quotas just like every other Urban Meyer clone.
