Here are your 2019 white Baltimore Ravens (starters in bold): Offense: QB - Trace McSorley FB - Patrick Ricard OL - Bradley Bozeman, Matt Skura, Marshal Yanda, James Hurst, Ben Powers TE - Nick Boyle, Mark Andrews, Hayden Hurst Defense: FB Patrick Ricard is also listed as a backup D-lineman, but other than that, none Special Teams: K Justin Tucker, P Sam Koch, LS Morgan Cox The Ravens went from one of the most white-friendly teams in 2018 to one of the least white-friendly in 2019. With the departure of Joe Flacco, Eric Weddle, and Brent Urban, there's not much left to root for on this full caste squad. Trace McSorley is buried as the third-string QB behind magical upsider Lamar "Eraserhead" Jackson and mega-bust Robert Griffin III. TE Charles Scarff, OL Marcus Applefield, and DL Zach Sieler are on the practice squad. Total White starters: 5 Total White players on 53-man roster: 13 Overall Grade: F+
Second year tight end Mark Andrews is one to watch on this team. He's strong and fast. He's been getting rave reviews all summer and finished last season with some nice plays. There's a real chance he'll put up big numbers this year and become another star at the position. Lamar Jackson already looks to him as a safety blanket, but of course Andrews' fate hinges in large part on whether or not Jackson can become a competent NFL passer. This was posted somewhere not too long ago but here it is again. Hopefully Andrews will have his own thread soon.
Wow Hayden Hurst isn't starting? I dont follow the ravens that much what is up with him, is he trending towards a bust?
Hurst is listed as the starter but the Ravens will use two TEs often. Hurst had an injury marred rookie year and is the better blocker of the two while Andrews is the better receiving talent.
