Since 2015 (no prior reviews) the Mountaineers have started 9, 6, 6 and 7 whites. Look for an all time low of 5 this year with expectations to win the Sub Belt after a strong 11-2 2018.

Zac Thomas returns as QB after a strong 2,039 yd passing 21 TD 6 INT sophomore campaign along with target Hennigan (29/367/ 2 TD) and Reed (12/134 3 TD).

Not too much else worth of a mention but they do have a good deal of white depth that may or may not see much action

The team will be led by 1st year coach Eliah Drinkwitz who looks every bit as dorky and cucky as his name implies. He’s been all over the map. ACC, Mountain West, and SEC.
    Zac Thomas – QB (Junior)
    Thomas Hennigan – WR (Junior)
    Collin Reed – TE (Senior)
    Ryan Neuzil – LG (Junior)

    Jordan Fehr – LB (Senior)

Backups include OLB Jace Frisbee QBs Jackson Gibbs, Jacob Heusman, Tanner Gibbs, TE’s mike Evans and Miller Gibbs, Trey Toss and Collin Pearson ILB Matthew McQuinn,Tanner Ellenberger, Logan Doublin Tyler Bird and Blythe Hall, OL Gage Blackston, Will Hardin, Will Israel, Cooper Hodges, Logan Wright, Joe Hartung, Cole Garrison, Anderson Hardy, Josh Headlee, WR Jake Henry and Michael Queen, DL Luke Smith and Caleb Spurlin

    Nice write up!

At least they have a ton of depth with the backups. Really interested in seeing the jump in production for Hennigan.

Jordan Fehr is a beast and was 1st team all-Sun Belt last year as a first year starter. He’s an athletic guy with NFL potential.

I’m a big fan of Hennigan too, he has the ability to be an all-conference player as well. I hope he is once again used as a kick/punt returner and hopefully he can have a better year than 2018 when he only recorded 1 offensive touchdown. He had over 500 yards and 7 touchdowns on offense as a freshman!

    Good one.

Thanks Claimjumper. Nice write up. A couple of bright spots but not top tier either. But I have seen worse. The depth looks promising as mentioned above.
