    The Huskies have had 8, 6, 6 ,8 ,8 ,7, 8, 7, 8, 8, 8 and 6 white starters since 2005.

They are projected to start 6 in 2018. Edsall has stock piled this team full of upside laden quotabacks.

QB Brandon Bisack, QB Steven Krajewski (true freshman 3 star QB - surprised that Edsall recruited a white QB), OL Nino Leone, WR Mason Donaldson, WR Kyle Buss, DE Connor Freeborn, DT Ryan Fines, LB Santana Sterling, LB/S Eddie Hahn, LB Hunter Webb are players to look out for.

    Offense
    TE - Tyler Davis
    LT - Ryan VanDenmark
    LG - Cam DeGeorge
    C - Ryan Crozier

    Defense
    DT - Kevin Murphy
    LB - Ryan Gilmartin

Looking like another sorry season in store for UCONN. At least they have basketball, now that Kevin Ollie was canned.

    Thanks Leo.

UCONN looks like the standard DNA college football team with a heavy caste presence.

Looking for any silver lining one has to hope the white back ups move to the fore front. I brought up WR Kyle Buss a few years back. One of those players who slipped through the recruiting cracks he eventually ended up at UCONN. He was returning kick offs then got injured and then disappeared off the team for "personal reasons." With all that said he could be primed for a big senior year. He is fast.

Expect to see the other WR Donaldson on the field too and on defense OLB Eddie Hahn could take over the starting job as the season moves forward.

A team to keep an eye on that could become a pleasant surprise. One of those wait and see type of teams.

Good call Shadowlight! WR Kyle Buss had 8 receptions for 111 yards in season opener Thursday night vs. Central Florida
