This week starts out with a Thursday night game that I'm actually looking forward to seeing. Pittsburgh Steelers with the great Ben Roethlisberger against the Carolina Panthers with the spectacular Christian McCaffrey. Both teams have good representation on both sides of the ball, so it's not your typical Thursday night blackfest.

Also both teams are in the hunt and need this game. Should be fun! Just hold your nose when sCam "Supaman" Newton is busy hogging the ball.

I really don't have a problem with Scam other than his bouts of crazy narcicism, I really don't hold blacks to white standards of decorum and besides when I get my adrenaline dump a bit of the Scots-Irish crazy can happen.
And I think C-Mac is fitting in on the team. His dad knows the score in the locker rooms and that would have made the Raiduhs and the Pete Plantation NoGos for his son while Rivera has the clout to send the BLM lawyer types down the road.

    Anyway thanks for the reminder

McCaffrey with 40 rushing yards and a 20-yard receiving TD on the first drive! Hopefully he can have 100+ rushing yards in primetime TV tonight.

You knew if CMAC scored a TD, Watt would be shown distraught when he was no way near him when he scored. LOL

I have to say, the Steelers are actually a fun team to watch. Ben, Switzer, McDonald, James, a few white OL, and Watt (and backups like Matakevich and Chickillo) on defense.

Panther defense sucks. C-Mac might not get many carries if they don't get it together.

The Steelers also start two white OT (Feiler and Villanueva), which is the first time in the Mike Tomlin era from what I can recall.

Yep, that’s a huge concern. CMac with 60 yards rushing already but it’ll be tough to reach 100 now that the Panthers are trailing 24-7. However, he should get plenty of passes thrown his way.

I don't know how significant this is, but at only 22 years old and 997 career rushing yards, CM would be the fastest white RB to get to 1,000 career yards, I think?

Steelers don't even seem to be watching CM. Maybe they just don't believe a white RB will be thrown the ball.

It’s not even halftime and McCaffrey has 112 yards and 2 TDs on only 12 total touches. Wow!

Scam just laid out by Watt and fumbles. Luckily CMac recovered.

17 straight pass plays by the Panthers to end the half. Caff averaging over 6 ypc was moving the ball well but they abandon it so early to start chucking it - from a QB who already has a pick six on the day.

Big Ben is picking apart the Panthers terrible, coal black secondary. This time a touchdown pass to McDonald. The Panthers deserve this beat down after signing BLM Reid while disrespecting Colin Jones.

Yeah, I wasn't sure, but I was thinking in terms of age. He could pass Riggins real easy if he gets more carries and stays healthy of course.
