It may be just pre-season...but Chad Kelly should be an NFL Starting QB on somebody's team one day; a couple TD passes & some nice runs (21 yarder called back). Throwing darts + he has moxie! Then throws the INT
Announcers raving over Josey Jewell being a 3 down LBer & how strong he is at the point of attack.
Broncos have 5 TE's from the Big 10.

If it weren't for racial slotting, the Chargers' Sean Caulkin (TE) would probably be a defensive end. Cardale Jones hasn't tapped into his limitless upside yet.

Was hoping to see more of the Denver tight ends, but nice to see LaCosse with the long TD from Kelly.
From the brutal media and fan reaction after last night's game, barring some "miracle", Lynch is done in Denver. A year from now, they'll probably throw his name in with Ryan Leaf's in their "busts" list.
Interesting how Siemian had a decent game against his former team...and former coach...hmmm. I hope Keenum isn't brought down because of them.
If Cousins stays healthy, the Vikings will be a tough team to beat in the regular season.

I’m not ready to write Lynch off. Under Kubiak during his rookie year he played well in limited playing time. I don’t think the current offensive system is tailored to his strengths - that said he does need to show improvement over the next 3 games.
I didn’t get to see the game - it was nice to see Chad Kelly return to the playing field. It was great to see him put up big numbers - I felt that his talent was that of a high draft pick but his knee injury and “character concerns” killed his draft stock. Maybe I can catch the game on replay today.

Chad Kelly has that kind of wild horse QB approach that I enjoy. He was electric last night. But that ACL tear set him back badly since he was an older prospect to begin with and yes the character stuff was factored in but that sort of stuff seems to have no bearing on black players with similar issues who get drafted high without a pause.
Now a word about Aaron Rodgers. It is rare for a QB to forcibly speak out against his receiving core. It wasn't the veterans or Kumerow who he was targeting. It was the bevy of black WR's the Packers drafted.
My take. No one would argue that the two best QB's in the game are Brady and Rodgers. Rodgers is looking over at how Brady seems to be able to hand pick the type of WR he wants on the team and Rodgers is wondering why the Packers aren't giving him that sort of leverage?They dumped his QB coach and got rid of his buddy the great Jordy Nelson. They draft a bunch of so called black up siders who seemingly lack the fundamentals. Rodgers even said at least the playing dummies are open as he chucked some balls at them after another exasperating round with this new group.
Bottom line there is a disconnect between the Packers' star QB and the head office.

Anyone know anything about Raiders safety Erik Harris? He looks pretty white but also looks like he could be mixed, has a white wife and his kids look 100% white.

He is mixed.
By the looks of him, one 1/4 to 1/8 black. Interesting he got deep blue eyes from one of his parents. Probably his mom.

The Denver DWFs, as typical, are overreacting to one game. Their eagerness to jump to negativity, like that of all DWFs, strangely appears to be limited to White players.
If Lynch doesn't work out the Broncos still have good White QB depth.

The word White gets tossed about plenty, but a whole lot of lightskins are actually Askenazi/black hybrids -- regardless of how one or another case turns out. And - with the Caste System - many of them get pushed and elevated in sports even if they suck. Apparently Ryan Tannehill kicked rookie upsider Kallen Ballage out of the huddle over the weekend for missing a blocking assignment. Affirmative Action and ESPN Analyst Ryan Clark responds by asking who Tannehill thinks he is? He then goes on to say if it was Tom Brady that's ok because he at least has done something. Tannehill can't because it might hurt Ballage's delicate negro ego. Lol can't make this **** up, I've barely watched ESPN in months and 5 minutes in hear this BS.

Tannehill is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. If he does stuff like that, the reaction is "Who the hell is he to be doing that?" if he doesn't, the reaction is "Tannehill needs to be more of a leader" He can't win with the DWF's. He's unappreciated even by his own team's fan base.

I'm sure if Brady kicked someone out of a huddle, he'd get attacked too (unless the player who was kicked out was White).

Kicking a guy out of the huddle isn't a big deal - Bobby Layne punched a lineman in the mouth (before faceguards) in the huddle for missing a block.
Stepping up: Trey Hendrickson hasn’t gotten a lot of attention this camp, but the second-year defensive end has a habit for making plays. He recorded two sacks during Monday’s practice and had a solid performance against the Jaguars. The big issue for him is staying healthy. It felt like he never quite got going last year because he was sidelined so often. If he can stay on the field and replicate what he is doing in camp when it counts, he could make an impact this season.

One of the surprises from the Raiders preseason opener against the Lions was receiver Griff Whalen taking snaps with the starters while Ryan Switzer played with the second-string offense. That continued Tuesday morning as Whalen was the starting slot receiver with Jordy Nelson and Amari Cooper on the outside.
After practice, Derek Carr spoke highly of the veteran receiver.
“I love Griff Whalen,” Carr said. “Every time he makes a catch, I’m hooting and hollering, man I love him. He’s smart, he thinks the same way I do as a quarterback. He will come to me and say, ‘hey I know that this is this signal but what if we did it like this to make it look like this?’ I love this guy, like yes please keep bringing these ideas to me.”
After spending four years with the Colts, Whalen has jumped around the past two seasons appearing in games with both the Chargers and Ravens. He has the physical attributes to be an impact player from the slot, but it is his mental understanding of the game that has impressed Carr.
“He’s someone that can not only do it physically, but from the mental side of things he sees things,” Carr continued. “I made a check on one route yesterday to Jordy (Nelson), and we never went over it but he (Whalen) knew what I was thinking and that he shouldn’t run over there because of the route. Just little things that he does, it’s like wow this guy, he obviously went to Stanford.”
With a similar skill set as Switzer including experience as a returner, Whalen seems to be making a push for the starting job in the slot.

You gotta love Coach Gruden. A coach who actually plays white talent outside of New England. Who knew? He
was always a fair announcer too. Really like the guy. Football should be about playing the best talent irregardless
of skin color and stereotypes. He gets it. Why do so many other coaches in college and the nfl struggle with this
basic concept. I don't care if a guy was Asian if he could run and catch he needs to be playing. You guys get my point!

Thankfully, Quinn returned to practice on Saturday.
On a positive injury note, wide receiver Trey Quinn returned to practice in full today, coming off of a stomach injury on a wild hit during the preseason game against the Patriots. He caught every ball thrown in his direction, and caught the attention of Gruden after sustaining a long drive with Colt McCoy on 11-on-11 drills.

And wasn't there some talk about a few militant sumos on the offensive line whiffing on their blocks because Carr was one of a handful of players who stood for the anthem in the game immediately following Trump's remarks?
Now with Gruden onboard and some pale faces he can identify with, Carr could have a huge year and establish himself as a top-tier QB.

I think it's kind of silly to say that there are not racial politics in the NFL, ESPN's crappy magazine had a guest column called "Player X" and he was honest about it. Here is my take on the Raiders, Goofy the Owner knows he has a franchise QB and he also knew that his super sumos were going to get that man killed and blow his chances at building a team that can make him money, so he fires the idiot whigger head coach and brings someone in with a rep who can can the miscreants without blowback. While the head miscreant (Lynch) can still collect a paycheck the others who would follow him are placed on the hot seat, play right or wash cars.

I totally agree with the racial politics - look no further than the loud moufed somewhat effeminate Jalen Ramsey and his analysis of qbs that was just released as part of an article. Pretty much everything he said favored all the black quarterbacks in the league. He called Matt Ryan overrated, Roethlisberger decent at best, indicated that Odell Beckham makes Eli Manning. He isnt completely discounting white qbs but you get the jist that their is black quarterback favortism especially after he said Lamar Jackson is going to do good things.
Lots of White players getting nicked up already. Burkhead came down with some kind of injury and will miss tonight's game, the second one in a row he's missed. It's crucial that Rex gets healthy and stays that way as he has a great opportunity to have a big season. Here's good news on Trent Taylor:
The Athletic's Matt Barrows writes Trent Taylor (back) "appears to have returned to his 2017 form." Taylor was sidelined throughout the offseason and into training camp following back surgery. He was removed from the PUP a couple weeks ago, however, and seems to be back to 100 percent. Taylor should be the team's primary slot receiver this season.

Among the QBs (all of them white) that Jalen Ramsey trashed was rookie Josh Allen. Allen has yet to play in the NFL and all of a sudden he is "trash?"
Remember the movie "The Longest Yard" starring Burt Reynolds. There was a scene during the football game where the line opened up a passing lane for Burt to throw the ball at Ray Nitschke's (who played a mean prison guard--what else ha) nuts.
The Bills should grant Ramsey that favor and have Allen deliver one of his flaming fireballs right at Ramsey's you know what. The dude wouldn't be able to walk for a week.
PS-my favorite scene in that movie takes place in the swamp where a fellow macho prisoner decides to mess with Burt and they go tit for tat. Hilarious.
