It's not just in TV, either. All of the sales in the print mailings I get now from the major and not-so-major retailers and professional service companies including banks and insurance companies almost exclusively depict a happy middle-upper class black family with happy healthy kids, the husband black and wife usually mulatto.

There was a commercial for wrangler I just saw - could of been one of those levis diversity commercials. I always associated the wrangler brand as for farmers/Cowboys. Now they are just another brand trying to “diversify”. The same obvious agenda is being pushed everywhere.

Not a fan of either OU or Texas in the least, but am glad that Texas is up on them 24-10 at the moment. Texas has one loss and if they beat OU, that drops them out of the top ten and, hopefully, the playoffs.

Northwestern RB Drake Anderson is a very very light mixed guy, his dad was Northwesterns all time leading rusher until last year. His dad I believe is mixed and his mom is white so he’s in more like the Vic Wharton/Kekoa Nawahine type of guys. However I cut them some slack and root for these guys.

Also what do yall think will happen with Shane Buechele, will he transfer? I haven’t heard him mentioned in a while. I played against him 3 times in high school and was never really impressed with what I saw, nor was I impressed with him at UT. The guy can definitely play college ball he’s just not a top flight QB and I think he could succeed if he transfers to a smaller school, similar to Garrett Gilbert.

I was impressed with him whenever I saw him play, but with Herman at the helm of UT, I'd like to see him transfer...K-State, Minnesota, Missouri would be good fits.

I am surprised he never transferred. Still remember him out dueling Dushone as a true freshman. I do think he has some talent and could help out some qb needy team.

So white receiver makes a great catch aon an overthrown ball and the announcer says beautiful throw.... doesn't mention the catch at all. Very next play, black guy drops a perfectly thrown ball and the announcer says ball thrown a little too hard for the receiver!

Same white receiver Steronik? has a great catch and run outrunning 4 guys for a big gain and the announcer praises how he cradled the ball because he knows he's a "tight-end type".

The only hype I heard before the Texas/OU game was for OU quota Murray. Ehlinger outplaying him with over 300 total yards, 48 of it rushing yards with 3 rushing TD and 2 passing TD as Texas is whupping OU 45-24. Will the media now hype Ehlinger like they did Murray?

We're all watching different games and unless it is a well known player nationally, we don't necessarily know a player and his team just by mention of his last name.

I’ve been watching all of the running back games. Zane Dudek has been banged up for a few weeks. Since his 200 plus yard start, he’s been hampered....Ian Eriksen hasn’t played in a couple weeks....If healthy, he’d be out there....I’ve watched the whole BC-NCS game....Glad to see Glines (BC) nearing 100 yards.....Brady Bodine (NCSU)with a few solid carries also..
I saw the Sills TD...He will be a day 2 wideout drafted next year.....

I’ve watched a bunch of the Illinois game. Bush is sCam like and nearly unwatchable as someone noted earlier....So true.........Scratch the nearly part......Epstein was on track for 1000 yards....Not so now.....Their MLB is tough........Borghi playing with the pass happy WSU team makes them unwatchable.....Give that kid the pigskin....

Glines got screwed on that fumble....
