Since '05, Utah has started 11, 11, 11, 8, 8, 11, 11, 11, 6, 5 and 6 whites. This is a team that demographically reflects American Samoa more than Salt Lake City. It could be anywhere from 3 to 5 this year. Pathetic team and SS Chase Hansen is about the only reason to keep an eye on them.

TE - Harrison Handley - in a battle for position
LT - Jackson Barton

Defense -
DE - Kylie Fitts
SS - Chase Hansen

Notable back ups include LT Johnny Capra, LG Kyle Lanterman, RT Scott Peck, and LB Cody Barton.

It's pretty sad to see the downward trend on that team. I am sure BYU is going to have a similar downturn in white players as well as more polys get dumped on their campus.

One good thing that the BYU Administration did a couple of years ago was to increase the academic requirements at BYU to make them on par with Northwestern. I think they did this because they knew what the athletic department was up to. So, it should help them from becoming another Utah.

Just saw that Chase Hansen is "unavailable to practice until further notice" by the head coach. I hope it's nothing serious as he is one of the best safeties in the country.
