The Washington State Cougars enter the 2016 season under their fifth year head coach Mike Leach. The Cougs are coming off a 9-4 2015 season marked by a Sun Bowl victory against Miami. Leading the Cougs will be Heisman hopeful QB Luke Falk, whose eye-opening stats in the air raid offense have caught the attention of NFL scouts.

The Cougars have started 8, 9, 8, 11, 13, 13, 10, and 8 white starters since 2007. There was no write up in 2014. They bounce up to 9 this year.

WR - River Cracraft
LG - Cody O'Connell

RT - Cole Madison

Defense -

Key backups include QB Tyler Hilinski, WR Kyle Sweet, WR Kaleb Fossum, LG DrewNorvell, and RT BJ Salmonson.

Luke Falk is a Heisman darkhorse right now and if he has a good season could be a first round pick. I am interested to see what they can do this season. He can't be lumped in as a system QB either, he has all the traits of being a franchise QB - the frame, arm strength and accuracy. He is a QB I am going to make a point of watching as much as possible this season.

The cougars team has always been pretty white friendly from what I remember. I'm up near Seattle/Tacoma area. Their games are always on local channels here, I'll try to update as much as I can when I'm able to watch them.

Washington State redshirt junior T Cole Madison has graded out as Pro Football Focus' top offensive tackle in the country for 2016.

Madison plays right tackle for the Cougars and has done a phenomenal job keeping QB Luke Falk upright. Per PFF, in 648 pass-blocking snaps this season, the 6-foot-5, 265-pound redshirt junior has allowed all of two sacks. ESPN and Scout both tabbed him as a three-star recruit for the 2013 cycle, a reminder of just how difficult it is to project high school players.
