Florida has started 6, 6, 6, 3, 3, 3, 2, 2 and 4 Whites since 2005. The are projected to start 6 in 2015. They look to start 5 in 2016. Another pathetic team lead by a pathetic coach in a pathetic conference! Gone is Will Grier who transferred after testing positive for a perfomance enhancing drug. QB Austin Appleby and WR CJ Worton are two players to look out for on offense and DL Jordan Sherit is one to watch on defense. Offense - QB - Luke Del Rio C - Cameron Dillard RG - Tyler Jordan Defesne DT- Joey Ivie LB - Alex Anzalone
Not much to root for but Like USC they have 2 really talented defensive prospects in Ivie and Anzalone!
Compared to 2011 and 2012, this is quite an improvement. Of course, when the team is this dark, it doesn't make much of a difference.
On Florida's latest depth chart released today DE Jordan Sherit has been moved into a starting position! Unfortunately, LB Matt Rolin had to retire due to injuries.
Believe it or not Florida made some serious strides recruiting white defensive players the past few classes.....ESPECIALLY when you look at all the other programs across the nation... like even Idaho! Anzalone (from PA) is a NFL caliber sideline-to-sideline player who can't seem to shake the injury bug.....Joey Ivie could be a Draft pick as well....Taven Bryan is an intense dude from Wyoming...sorry to hear that about Rolin http://www.readingeagle.com/sports/article/gators-anzalone-has-healthy-goals This Program was probably in the Top 5 for most arrest & other problems
If I'm not mistaken, I think those recruits were from Muschamp's era at Florida. Knowing what McElwain did while he was at Colorado State, I tend to think this will be just a blip in the Caste Matrix and that Florida will soon return to their Caste-requisite coal-black 'D'. I rarely check the recruiting of SEC teams due to their inherent anti-White recruiting protocol, but I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if there were a single White player recruited to play defense by McElwain.
