Since 2006, there have been 7, 5, 5, 5, 2, 4, 3, 5, 5and 3 white starters for Clemson. They look to jump up to 6 in 2016.

The media hype will of course be around their quoataback Watson. Get ready for yet another Gremlin type hype job from the media for this guy. I can't really stomach their caste clown coach Swinney either. Boulware should be no less than a 3rd rounder in 2017.

Here are the projected starters.

Offense -

WR - Hunter Renfrow
LT - Mitch Hyatt
LG - Taylor Hearn
C - Jay Guillermo
RT - Jake Fruhmorgen

Defense -
WLB - Ben Boulware

Over the years Clemson has been one of the main poster-children for the Caste System...however surprisingly they seem to be turning the corner. Eye opening Class of 17' has 7 white commitments out of 12...(including 2 QB's & DB)...Class of 15' Signed 3 white defenders...Class of 16' signed a LB...as many in 3 years as the previous 10?? They may have a long way to go...but you have to start somewhere!

Keep an eye out for 2nd team redshirt Freshman Free Safety Tanner Muse (6'-2" 220!) conjures up memories of vicious hitting John Lynch...hopefully he stays away from baseball....Soph. TE-Garrett Williams is another one to watch

LB Boulware is a stud at 5'-11" 240....Hopefully LBers (Soph) Chad Smith 6'-4" 235 & (Fr.) Jaime Skalski 6'-0 235 can make some noise

Goofey Dabo being an ex-walk-on college WR himself...has allowed an open door for white walk-on WR's that earned scholarships & good enough for the NFL...Tyler Grisham(cut by Steelers), Adam Humphries(currently w TB Bucs), & now Hunter Renfrow( 2 TD's in National Championship vs 5-star CB) ....

Record Breaking HS WR Trey Quinn probably regrets passing on Clemson for home team LSU...Ends up transfering to SMU...where Clemson's ex OC Chad Morris now the new head coach

Mitch Hyatt looks like a likely first-rounder in a couple years' time, likely even top 10.

Boulware should be drafted reasonably highly too, despite the *obvious* lack of that *speed* and *athleticism*. Probably our second best ILB for the 2017 draft, behind Jewell.

Hopefully Renfrow builds on his fantastic playoff games last season and becomes yet another great WR prospect.

Overall nowhere near as many white-faces as there should be but a team to root for over the other big teams like Alabama, FSU, LSU etc

Ill just leave this right here. lol

Clemson Tigers quarterback Deshaun Watson said he has long been stereotyped as a run-first quarterback because he's black and is an effective runner.

In an interview posted on Bleacher Report, Watson said the label dual-threat quarterback is a "code word."

"People think, 'Oh, he's a black quarterback, he must be dual-threat.' People throw around that word all the time. It's lazy," Watson told Bleacher Report. "The one thing I learned early on as a football player is people have their opinions, and I can't change them. But I can show them what they're missing.

"People have assumed that I have to run the ball before I can throw it most all of my career, all the way back before high school. It's a stereotype put on me for a long time because I'm African-American and I'm a dual-threat quarterback. I don't know why that stereotype is still around. It's about talent and the ability to throw the ball, not the color of your skin or your ability to also be a dangerous runner."

Never thought I'd say this, but GO Clemson! At least for tonight. No fan of Watson but CFB "experts" are predicting a Bama victory because of dominant DL. On the flip side Clemson starts 4 white OL, the irony. Also Boulware and Renfrow are fun to watch. Welker comparison already flying around even though he's a 4.4 guy!!
