A better than average year although let me get the worst stuff over with first. Not enough white CF's made the postseason. Gardner( I still like him) for the second straight year had an awful second half and that little gnat Dee Gordon stole the batting crown from Harper. Bourgos and Stubbs fell off but were not given full chances.
Before I get to CF worth noting Yelich a fine athlete went on a tear and ended up at .300.Giants have a bevy of fine young athletes Tomlinson, Duffy and Parker. Seager looks like a future batting champ. Trea Turner is a speedster 2b/ss . Lets hope Nats give him a job next year. And Kris
Bryant is a stud.
CF report.--Grichuk is a great looking athlete. too bad he got hurt. Peterson (LA) weird year but great glove awesome power lots of walks and lots of K's all over the map but damn he has big time potential. Young Jankowski has the wheels can he hit enough?
Billy Burns is a true burner got to root hard for guys like him. Brad Miller played CF at end of season for Seattle. Eaton had a great year after a terrible start. As mentioned by Carolina Speed Pollock and Blackman have the speed and all around talent. Marisnick needs to hit better but he is a stellar athlete. Rasmus is solid all around. Their Astros play Gardner's Yankees Tuesday. Gold glover for sure Kiermaier and Pillar who we will see in playoffs had a great all around years. Two important guys to watch in the future. Oh and of course Mike Trout who went through a horrible slump in August---his wrist injury? but bounced back--I was pissed he didn't get to .300 or make playoffs but I know Carolina follows him and he is probably my current favorite athlete. Very kid friendly smiles a lot good disposition but always plays hard.
CF is like a wide receiver in football and it is the most important caste position in baseball.
So overall this season was better than last season.

Agreed. Seems to be a lot of young white talent in general and especially in outfield. I'd like to see it last!
