It's looking like a fun weekend in Charlotte for the Wells Fargo Championship. Webb Simpson and Robert Streb share the lead at -10, but Rory and Phil both had great rounds today, shooting 67 and 66 respectively to get to three shots off the lead at -7 going into tomorrow. Another interesting story is Patrick Rodgers, who got in on a sponsor's exemption, is currently tied for 3rd at -8.

Several big names missed the cut in defending champ JB Holmes and also Adam Scott, Jim Furyk, and Louis Oosthuizen.

Rory lapped everyone in the field in the third round today except for Webb Simpson, shooting a course record 61! He had 11 birdies and 7 pars. Simpson is the only player within shouting distance going into the final round.

Bubba Watson wins the Travelers' Championship in a playoff today over Paul Casey. That gives him two wins on the season, with the first coming in China.

You would have thought Tiger Woods would be in the lead at the Greenbrier Classic by taking a first look at the PGA Tour site. The front page is covered with his image and news. He did shoot a -4 under 66 yesterday, but that only got him a T-12. today he's even at number 18 and still -4 overall and has dropped to T-36. Insane for a guy who hasn't won in almost 2 years and dropped to number 220 in the world rankings!

The leaders currently are:

Langley, -9
Vegas, -9

There are no huge names in the top 30 or so.

Very telling as to where Wood's game is. He's in a T-36 and none of the top 10 in the World, except Watson are in the tournament!

I replied to soon, crap! Woods birdies 18 to finish -1 and -5 overall for a T-25, but still dropped 13 spots today.

It seems Tiger is getting a little desperate. After hitting a tee shot that was clearly OB, Tiger had the rules official come out and put a string between the 2 OB stakes to ensure the ball was OB. The on course announcers said it was clearly OB with the naked eye. He double bogeyed the hole and is -4 and T49 today at the Greenbrier Classic.

Jason Bohn shoots a 61 and now leads at -11.

Possibly another star to look out for is Maverick McNealy, a Stanford Sophomore, he is -8 and T-7!
