Upset brewing...black-dominated Villanova down by 4 to even blacker NC State with :49 left...

Hopefully, if Northern Iowa takes care of business against Rick Pitino and his all-black Louisville team tomorrow, they should have an easier time with NC State than Villanova.... any way, I think Butler/Notre Dame is going to tip after 10 Eastern now.

Jakob Poeltl is leading the Utes with 10 points now as they take on Georgetown. Hopefully, another all-black squad in Georgetown will be going down tonight.

I hope Poeltl does well in the tournament, because this was a really bad freshman class for are boys. After Poeltl I think the next white guy was ranked like 42.

Absolutely beautiful to see Georgetown lose. Their 4 seed was a complete joke. Also good to see Poetl with 12 points and Bachynski with 9 slamming nails in the Hoya coffin.

It would be absolutely awesome to see Northern Iowa in the Final Four. They would join the list of mid majors to get there.

On another note, Connaughton just had a sweet, very athletic follow up dunk!

Yep!! McConnell was the best player on the floor out there tonight. He did everything out there for the Wildcats, finishing with a game-high 19 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds, and 5 steals!! What a player.

Kaleb Tarczewski also had a nice game, scoring 8 points, with 9 boards and 2 blocks.

McConnell had an absolutely great game. He carried that team today when his teammates, especially Stanley Johnson, couldn't get their offense going. He really deserves to get a look from the NBA.

Tarczewski is a very consistent player. He doesn't score much, but he can block shots and rebound. Johnson has played pretty awful this month.

Is it just me or is this year the Whitest March Madness in recent memory? It seems like 90% of the games have featured our boys tearing it up in both winning, and losing efforts. Fun watchin for sure!

OK some games are like that but a lot are 10 black guys all the time. I had to switch to a hockey game the other night to wash all the negro out of my brain.

A moronic black player nearly lost the game for Notre Dame because of a completely bone headed mistake. In the last seconds of regulation a White Notre Dame player made an amazing play to prevent the team from losing and saved his black teammate's ass. That's a perfect microcosm for the USA. Blacks screw things up constantly, White men step up to save the day.

Notre Dames White guys are the reason they are good. Darian Grant is a good player, and gets all the credit, but the two White kids are the heroes of that team.

looks like Vasturia received a few scholarship offers but almost only from mid majors. I wonder why no big time college basketball programs offered this 6'5 athletic shooting guard who's also a great defender a scholarship ?

I was rooting for Butler, but Pat Connaughton was the stuff of legend. He basically single-handedly willed Notre Dame to victory at crunch time.

The reason I wanted Notre Dame to win is because they probably have a better chance of beating Kentucky in the elite 8

I watched some of the Kentucky game. They really were not that impressive against Cincinnati who played them tough but did not seem to have a guy who could step up as the main scoring threat. I really was not impressed and they played in a weak conference. Cincinnati has to be given credit for playing them hard and softening them up.

ND/Butler was a great game and instant classic. I think ND will give the overrated Kentucky team all they can handle.

There is no way group of 5 freshman/underclassmen are better than the UNLV team that cracked up and lost to the gritty Duke team in 91'. The media loves to create super team images for the casual fan. But that UNLV team lost and that was the defending national championship team that destroyed a Duke team that at it's core was the same as the year before.

Back 20+years ago teams basically completed the 4 year cycle and were better than any "super team" that is fielded by the usual 1 and done basketball factories.

What a game between Notre Dame and Butler last night!! It was possibly the best game in the tournament so far. As Wes mentioned, the Irish's white players willed them to victory. "Defensive specialist" Steve Vasturia led the Irish with a team high 20 points, while pulling down 6 boards. As has also been mentioned, Connaughton played great in crunch time.

Conversely, Kellen Dunham and Alex Barlow both had off nights offensively for Butler, although Barlow played his normal, stifling defense. The Bulldogs were carried by Roosevelt Jones (their best black player) and Andrew Chrabascz, with 23 and 20 points respectively.

For the Sweet 16, we already have Arizona, Notre Dame, and UCLA as teams to root for. Wisconsin, Northern Iowa, Iowa/Gonzaga, and Wichita State will hopefully join them. I wish Iowa and Gonzaga didn't have to play each other.

Evan Wessel and Ron Baker playing really well for the Shockers right now, who are up 12 on the Jayhawks.

Another all-black team gone as Wichita State upsets Kansas!!! Wessel and Baker with great games!!

Also, Iowa and Gonzaga are playing on TBS... also, cheer for Iowa while we can; out of a 5-man recruiting class for next year, 4 are of the super athletic variety.

Gonzaga crushes Iowa........I hate how they always group the White friendly teams in the same brackets. I think Gonzaga has a better chance of going to the NC game so I'm happy with the result. Wiltshire, the kid who had to transfer from Kentucky because Calipari wouldn't let him start, had another great game.

Enjoying Wisconsin Oregon. Wish Dekker would hit more shots. He's not playing his best ball lately.

Northern Iowa up next. Watch the Tuttle kid. Hope he has a good game. He's draft material.

Kaminsky needs to step it up. He's not being nearly assertive enough on the offensive end.
