I just wanted to start a thread to post about the current nba season. Many teams have gone alot whiter. Even in Philly they traded for Nick Stauskas who starts along side TJ McConnel.

The Knicks are fun to watch as Porzinges is slowly becoming a star in his rookie year. The kid is so athletic.

Cleveland, Chicago, Boston and other teams are alot more fair these days.

So many new names from the draft and many trades. We need to do some updates on the teams to watch. Just thought I would get a thread started for those who like to watch pro basketball.

The NBA outlook is very bleak (black) this year. There will most likely be zero 20 ppg Whites this year. Dirk is winding down, Love is a 2nd soon to be 3rd option. Whites in the NBA are role players, as evidenced by only 2 whites (Galinari and Hayward) in the top 40 for minutes per game (tied for 35th). Porzingis looks good so far, as well as Rubio is healthy and will be among the league leaders in assists and steals.

I would like to do my team breakdowns again this year and plan to. But with my new job, time is more limited. I will try to at some point this week.

I still believe love would be a first option on almost any other team and I believe he will average over 20 points..last 4 games 22, 25, 34, and 21 points..Ryan Anderson may also go over 20 points a game with 24, 30, 30, 29 points the last 4 games. Also don't rule out Chandler Parsons who is still being eased back into action. He is the mavericks center piece.

Kobe Bryant posted a few hours ago that he's retiring at the end of the season, and BSPN has been breathlessly covering it ever since, pre-empting its regular schedule and giving it coverage equivalent to a moon landing or the outbreak of war.

Most fans I know have responded with a resounding "meh". Kobe's been washed up for at least the last two years. Considering the god-awful nature of the Lakers and the major negative contribution of Bryant, it's one of most anti-climactic retirement announcements ever.

BSPN and the rest of the media will milk it for everything they can. It'll be the coverage of Derek Jeter's last season x 5.

speaking of Kobe's retirement, there was a highlight by a most unusual source (at least, according to the "experts" who "evaluate" "talent" in the NBA) during the Lakers-76ers game.

backup point guard T.J. McConnell, an (obviously undrafted) rookie out of Arizona, broke the ankles of the Lakers Lou Williams. you can see the video here.

McConnell, who was a dominant player at the collegiate level but received virtually no appreciation from the NBA draftniks, has emerged as a good player for the woefully horrid 76ers. he has started 13 of the 19 games in which he has played, and he's averaging over 6 assists, nearly 5 rebounds, and almost 7 points per game (with under 3 turnovers per) in over 27 minutes of run per night. truth be told, his performance isn't shocking. the fact that he's gotten an opportunity is what's truly amazing.

here is a video that shows how effectively the floor general makes his teammates look better:

*********************

in other news, the "game changing" "electrifying" "talents" of DeAndre (not a typo) Jordan is re-writing the NBA record books.

he did it by missing 22 free throws in a single game. that's also not a typo.

here's a hilarious video with all 22 rim-rocking, glass-shattering bricks.

the 22 misses ties the record set by Wilt Chamberlain.

What's the caste status for that Zaza Pachula mug? He looks like a Mediterranean type. Is he a Mohammedan? I know he played for Atlanta previously. Looks like he's averaging a double/double thus far (this season).

Haven't heard much from former Wisconsin All American Frank Kaminsky, so I checked the box score tonight and he had I believe a career high 20 points in a losing cause for Charlotte against LA.

JJ Redick led the Clippers with 26 points.

Good to hear that Frank the Tank has been adjusting his style to pro game.

It's amazing the reslience JJ has shown in his career. He's faced overwhelming odds since becoming pro. People wrote him off early in his career as he struggled to earn minutes(white boy syndrome). Now he's top 10 3pt shooter and just about any rational team would welcome his scoring presence to their team! It took Redick some time but he's a solid to above average pro. This is why I have small amount of hope that Jimmer Freddette can carve out a career in NBA. He's currently in D-League.

Glad to here Freddette is still around.

Redick had another 26 point game last night. JJ would easily be a top 10 scorer or top 5 if he got more attempts. Redick, 16pts./game, is averaging around 11 shot attempts per game. Whereas the top scorers are getting 19/20 shots per game.

Love, 16.7, and Hayward, 19.0, not much better at only 13 and 14 attempts/game.

It is criminal what has happened to love. He was averaging 25 ppg in Minnesota but did anyone thing Pig James would let a white guy be the leading scorer on the team. Nope, he's the number three guy over there.

After looking at the all-star roster, I think we should all boycott the NBA all-star game.

I heard Dirk & Gasol were shafted, but didn't here who did they did select (afroletes no doubt).

Not one single White player selected. I'll bet that's the first time. Both Pau and Marc Gasol, Kevin Love, and Dirk all should have been selected. Dirk is climbing the top 10 all time scoring list and they're not going to put him in the all star game? The agenda once again is clear.

#NBAsoblack . 3 white MVPs in 30 years. Blatant racist organization that is run by Jews. No way...

Well I suppose since the Mcdonalds All American rosters have a whopping three whites on rosters, they had to shaft the NBA players. For those that don't know, that is one more than the usual two they stick us with. All of the West roster too.

I just watched the players introduced for the NHL All Star game and two blacks made it from a league that's about 97% White. But not a single White in the NBA game.
