Apparently, all of those chances Algeria had running against the two CBs were 100% Mertesacker's fault... :dodgy:

Ozil will always be in a Jogi Loew lineup even if he played 5 games with Arsenal the entire year. I feel so bad for Andre Schurrle... having to be stuck behind an underperforming bum like Ozil the entire tournament. IF Loew leaves, maybe at least one of these guys will be out of the Euro 2016 squad.

Khedira's starting where Lahm would've started I believe... They'll probably bring Kramer off the bench for him.

It's not too hard to root for Germany against this French team even though Low's decision to always stick with 3 non-whites is ridiculous. It looks like they'll finish the match with 9 whites with Goetze coming in for Ozil.

for the troll xman who said sakho had to play this game instead of koscielny, like i said before the game france without koscielny and giroud was beaten on cornerkicks/freekicks in the aerial department, and they lost because of this
and deschamps, the french coach, replaced sakho for koscielny in second half after a very bad pass from sakho that almost offered a goal to germany
it happens very rarely that a defender is replaced by another one in a game, unless he's injured
so if sakho wasn't injured deschamps basically admitted that it was a huge mistake to start sakho

Liverlips, my problem with the French team is that it is less than half white for a country that's 85% white. Blacks only make up about 3% of the population, yet half the starters. They literally are Senegal North when you look at it.

Colombia is different. Whites only make-up about 35% of the population and blacks, though over-represented on the national team, have always been part the country, unlike the African imports in France. I don't have too much of a problem with Colombia.

I don't have a horse in the next match and trying to look at it from Germany's point of view. A semi-final against the hosts will be a difficult order, so I'd rather see Colombia win.

if brazil wins = neymar, the new pele, blablabla
if colombia wins, their best player is james rodriguez, white (or whitish)
colombia's best players are white or non black, and that's without their best striker falcao who was injured before the tournament
meanwhile brazil's big white population from the southern states of brazil is not represented at all in that team, the only one is henrique buss and he's on the bench all the time

and overall i think that colombia will beat brazil
like i said at the beginning of the tournament they should go in semi finals

another reason to like colombia, their youngest starter is james rodriguez, the rest are very old
it's great to see a team that's not affraid to play old players
yepes wouldn't play in an european team because of his age (38) but he's very good
and mondragon beat the record for the oldest player to ever play in a world cup (previously held by the african roger milla)
