Too bad about Biermann.

Another downer is that Peyton Hillis was a healthy inactive yesterday.

Yea, guys like Leonard and Hillis are wasting away while all these obscure black running backs are given chances for only one reason.

I believe both of them got a one year deal with Tampa Bay. I hope that's the case. Maybe next year they will land with teams that will appreciate their talents. How in the world does a former 1,000 power runner on a bad team go to being an inactive backup? This league really pisses me off.

Per rotoworld;

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, backup QB Matt Simms "has some real support to play" within the Jets' organization.
"Should Geno (Smith) struggle, worth watching," Schefter reported. Simms is a 24-year-old former undrafted free agent out of Tennessee. He beat out Greg McElroy for the Jets' backup job in August, finishing the preseason with a 74.6 completion rate and 8.1 yards-per-attempt average without a turnover on 59 throws, albeit against deep backups. Smith has been the weak link on a Jets team that has otherwise been better than people expected. If Smith keeps giving the ball to the other team, the Jets' offensive staff may have to seriously contemplate a switch. Geno has five turnovers through two games.

A big part of me would like to see Smiff get benched after one quarter after getting intercepted by Kiko Alonso with Simms coming in and lighting up the Bills and their afleet black quarterback Manuel.

so that's fun:

Bengals LT Andrew Whitworth (knee) is active for Monday night's Week 2 game against the Steelers.Whitworth practiced on a limited basis all week and was listed as questionable on the injury report. He missed the opener against the Bears. Anthony Collins filled in admirably, but he'll revert back to swing tackle duties. The Bengals declared WR Dane Sanzenbacher, CB Brandon Ghee, RB Rex Burkhead, G Mike Pollak, T Tanner Hawkinson, TE/FB Orson Charles, and DE Margus Hunt inactive.

Sanzenbacher, Burkhead and Hunt (is he hurt?) inactive???seriously, **** NFL

PS oh and Heath Miller is out with a knee injury.

If Smiff wasn't a second round pick, Simms would have been the opening day starter. He was excellent in preseason.

Kiko Alonso had a very nice debut game last week, but outdid himself today -- 9 tackles, 1 assisted tackle, 1 interception, 1 sack. Not a bad day's work. :clap2:

yep notice how he was the first player i took in our fantasy draft, I didn't want to jinx it, but I really felt like he was the safest pick in this draft like for real not like that turd who washed out in Seattle.

Manning is ignoring Decker, while lavishing targets on his new magical afflete, Julius Thomas. Meanwhile, Welker has dropped 3 passes.

This was supposed to be a shootout, but so far it has been a really ugly game.

Manning goes for the best matchup, Decker is double teamed alot, which defenses respect for him. I guess he likes the odds of throwing to one slow linebacker or strong saftey covering Julius Thomas rather than a cornerback AND a free safety cover Decker. The real pain is not throwing to Welker, he needs to get it in his head, like Brady did real quick...Welker is always open, no matter what look or coverage. The reason why he has had multiple 100 catch seasons, but he targeted Decker alot, and Welker less. I guess we are going to see their targets split. Both could have 1000 yards. He only had 3 catches yesterday. Like I said he needs to realize Welker is always open and forget about the scrub Julius regardless of who is covering him, and to make Demaryius happy throw him a couple of bombs a game, he seems to be limited on his route running.

Kaepernick's awful night makes it a good day overall. If you can believe it the DWF where starting to put him in the Rodgers/Manning/Brady/Brees elite category

they got cute and thought their black quarterbacks could play well running the read option less. Kapernick had success against the Packers in week 1 but after that teams had film of how he looked when receivers weren't wide open due to the read option play action pass.

no, they just don't plan on using Hunt, hes a bad fit for the team, same with Shea McClellin with the Bears who is best suited for 3-4 olb, maybe 4-3 RDE, they have him backing up LDE in a 4-3 when they drafted him, maybe we will see them emerge 4 to 6 years down the line like a Kyle Vanden Bosch or Jason Babin, god forbid they start getting close to the career record books, we already have Clay Matthews and Jared Allen. If all Whites were allowed to start right away people would look back at history and think Whites dominated when they played (which they do), but few are given the chance to start right away. Now theres even this myth that Whites take longer to develop and also decline faster. What a joke. John Riggins drank beer every night and ran for a ton of yards through his mid 30's, holds multiple records for performances by oldest rb to put out so many yards. Out of the thousands of black backs given a shot, only Marcus Allen lasted for a similar amount of time with post season success and maybe a a little over a dozen of White rbs 1960 and on and most have had success like Jim Taylor (carried the team on a few championship games), Larry Csonka (only undefeated time), Marv Hubbard, Mark Van Buren (one of them one a superbowl), Craig James, rushed for 100 yards back to back to get his team to the Superbowl and unfortuantely the qb that started the Superbowl is the only qb in Superbowl history to not complete a pass, by the time they benched him it was pass pass pass, James got 5 rushes. Merril Hodge stepped it up and had back to back 100 yard games in the playoffs but his team lost by a few points . And our Defensive linemen seem to last until the mid 30's. Most our guys hit their stride late 20's, and keep on until mid 30's while most blacks decline when they get to 30.

wow you would think Manuel was a super start throwing that fade route that went uncovered to Stevie Johnson for a td, ive only seen it like 12 times and i literally just got home 20 minutes ago.

Eiffert is going to have a big game tonight for sure, he looks to be a big part of their offense and is drawing single coverage due to being an unknown quantity, I say 7 catches for 80+ yards

That's Mark van Eeghen. :biggrin: Sorry I'm a big 60's 70's and 80's white RB fan!

Yes van Eeghen won a Super Bowl with the Raiders in 1976, while rushing for over 1,000 yards and averaging over 4 yards per carry!

I can't believe BenJarvus Green Ellis gets to play instead of Burkhead, hes one of the most generic backs in the league, he can't pass protect or catch. Yes he ran a 4.6 which was faster than Burkhead, but he lacks burst, and his 20 yard shuttle was 4.5, which means he loses a tremendous amount of speed when changing direction, so unless he is running straight down hill forget it I think its the slowest 20 yard shuttle for a starting back. The only slower one I can think of is Mark Ingram, and he can't get more than 2 yard a carry, fans blame it on play callling that all the coaches do is call plays up the gut for him, did they ever think THATS ALL HE CAN DO. they try to run stretch plays for him and loses yards when he has to cut/change direction.

Burkhead is listed as running a 4.65 at the combine a 39 inch vertical a 10 5 broad (THAT SHOWS INCREDIBLE BURST and 4.09 20 yard shuttle (THATS INCREDIBLE AGILITY) and a 6.85 3 cone dril;
Lawfirm ran a 4.6 30 1/2 inch verticle 9 06 broad (little burst) 4.5 20 yard shuttle and a 7.56 3 cone drill (below average agility)

and if you look at them on film its obvious Bukrhead is superior, the only thing Lawfirm had going for him was lack of fumbles. If Lawfirm were White he would have never gotten a shot, even being black he was an UDFA and took a few years to get a shot under Belliecheck who seems to love giving scrubs chances (Blount despite not showing anything since his 1st year, it was an amazing first year running wise but he lost it after that)

Eifert with a big reception, looked like one of the DBs was trying to break his arm when they tackled him.

Dalton is another young QB that gets unfairly criticized. I think he is damn good and a winning QB. It looks like the Steelers are going to be going into a decline like they did in the 80s/early 90s - looking forward to it!

Feel bad for Big Ben as he is a top QB in the league.

I think my eyes could be deceiving me, but it seemed like either a White or very light-skinned negro WR just caught a TD for PIT. I did not catch the name or number, but it would be beyond impossible if a White receiver is on the roster.

I looked at Moye's pics, for example from the combine and he looked very white, especially his hair although his skin is quite dark and in some other pics he looks clearly mixed.

DWFs love salivating over AJ green but I can never understand why. He botches his routes constantly and drops a ton of passes. Of course Dalton gets blamed for this.

Are there any White officials for this game? The Caste System just keeps getting more ridiculous and extreme.

Doesn't the bungels have to state the reason Burkhead and Sanzenbacher are inactive?? WTF. More and more I have less interest in wasting time watching the NFL. Does anyone know the specific reason these guys are inactive besides being palefaces?
