I'm stuck in a motel and have to watch the Detroit-Pitt game, but it's sweet to see the Lions rack up nearly 400 yards of offense in the first half against the pathetic Crawfords!

I was happily watching Foles, and the white friendly Eagles demolish the Blackskins when the station decided to change games over to the Pit Det game. Guess they didnt want the public to see how great Foles is compared to the soft, weak, cowardly, inconsistent, over hyped Grimlen.

Goddamnit Fox. The stands in this Pittsburgh are empty as hell. DWFs can't handle their heroes sucking?

So FOX switches over to the Pittsburg game hmmmmm- agenda anyone?
I can see why, the Philly game is a blowout, and they don't want to have too many people see godlike RG3 overthrowing his receivers as he attempts to be a pocket passer down by 4 scores. The Crawfords are wearing their very appropriate "jailbird" unis today.

Perhaps Washington should put Cousins in to give them a chance to score a point...

Matt McGloin with a 3rd TD pass!

I wonder if the DWFs will clamor for Terrelle Pryor in the following weeks due to his "upside."
3 touchdowns in 2.5 quarters. It would sure be great to see him replace Toilet Paper as the permanent starter. I found out that TP and McGloin have a bit of a history together so this must make it extra sweet for McGloin

Terrelle Pryor's delay cost PSU's Matt McGloin a freshman-year scholarship, Nittany Lion QB says

Not that he needs it -- and he claims it's not a factor -- but Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin has a bit of an extra motivation going into Saturday's game against Ohio State. McGloin, a redshirt sophomore, was a walk-on for the Nittany Lions. Why didn't he have a scholarship? Ahh, therein lies the rub, according to a column by the Columbus Dispatch's Bob Hunter.
Quarterbacks Terrelle Pryor of Ohio State and Matt McGloin of Penn State have never met, but the two have a history from their high school days in Pennsylvania.

McGloin, a former walk-on from Scranton who is a redshirt sophomore, said this week that Pryor is indirectly responsible for his not getting a scholarship. Pryor, the consensus top recruit coming out of Jeannette High School, delayed his decision past national signing day, meaning Ohio State and Penn State and every other team that recruited him had to wait -- and keep a scholarship available.

"I know a couple of guys, including myself, didn't get offered because of him," McGloin said. "Schools were waiting to see what he did. I wanted to go to Penn State. Unfortunately, they didn't offer a scholarship. I think Terrelle Pryor made things confusing for some people."

McGloin added that the Pryor situation won't be a motivating factor in the teams' game on Saturday.

Eagles run game feeds off the pass, when they just try to run they go three and out. Needs to get some quick screens to keep the defense honest.

Cooper makes a catch at the goal line and gets tackled, looked like a TD to me but he was marked at the half yard line.

I agree, Cooper has been unlucky with plays being called back today, the 20 yard gain(which was legit) on the holding call and a clear TD.

They overturned the interception. Still a terrible game all around for Griffin.

The black quarterbacks have been terrible and white quarterbacks have been impressive. McGloin has been fantastic for the Raiders. Hopefully they'll stick with him.

Geno Smiff is completing less than 50% of his passes, has barely over 100 yards and 2 interceptions. Unfortunately, Manuel is playing well.

The other day, when it wasn't known if Pryor would go today or not, I think it was Weenieworld that wrote that though Pryor has struggled he was still "infinitely better" than McGloin. I wish I had posted it at the time but was busy. "Infinitely better" -- could you imagine them writing that about a White QB who was playing as terribly as Pryor, when comparing him to his black backup.

Keenum got benched for Schaub. It looks like Keenum has trouble with the blitz. Hopefully he keeps the job the rest of the way.
