T-wolves are done as far as the playoffs are concerned. Love has missed so many triple doubles by one assist. As long as Rubio gets his minutes, he puts up great numbers. The wolves bench is garbage and they need Pekovic.

What the heck is going on with Nowitzki? He took 2 shots the entire 1st half! 4/4.

It just wasn't Dirks night. He went 2 for 12 from the field and only scored 10 points in a close overtime loss to the Nets. Either he is hurt, tired or he just had one of those really bad games. I hope he gets back on track in the next game. I think he will. He is a very proud athlete and he will be very hard on himself. Just watch what he does in his next game. I will predict 25 points plus.

Minnesota plays Memphis tonight.

Nikola Vucevic is a beast for Orlando. He has 22 points/8 rebounds/2 steals/ an assist, and a block with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter as Orlando is beating Portland, 76-65!

Dirk, 8 1st quarter points.

Way to go Nikola. You have to give him credit for playing the game hard every night despite being stuck on a horrible team. That is the sign of a true leader. If they can surround him some better talent, Orlando could be a good team again in another year or two.

I predict Dirk goes for 25 plus tonight.

I'lll be honest. I'm really bummed out about the TWolves. One thing I have noticed is they don't the ball to Love in the 4th quarter in close games. K. Martin is good but he takes alot of bad shots and he shoots too much. He rarely passes the ball. I think he tries to hard to be the star. He is a very good player but Love is the star. Even the announcers in several games have pointed this out and it's not only Martin. Other teammates don't seem to get the ball to Love either. He takes far too few shots in close loss after loss. It's too late for this season but maybe something to work on for next year. I still think they need more scoring off the bench. Fredette is one of the answers they need.

Yes wl, the T'Wolves when healthy are probably the whitest team in the NBA and they seem to have almost everything in place. An MVP at PF,Love, a big scoring/rebounding Center, Pekovic, a decent scoring guard in Martin, a young up and coming PG, Rubio. However, the bench seems to be lacking. Minnesota starters account for 80% of the scoring. I'm not sure of the rest NBA teams, but that seems high! So yeah, I agree, they need a better bench and they need Rubio to improve his ability to create shots and score or get to the FT line more, he has everything else.

I told you guys that Nowitzki would go for 25+ points. He never, I repeat never has back to back bad games. He is one the best shooters I have ever seen. On top of that he is as competetive as they come. Dirk is his own worst critic. He expects to play good each and every night and he takes pride in that. He is by far the greatest international player of all time and probably one of the top 5 nba players to ever live when all is said and done at the end of his career.

As I say countless times and I will continue to say. Long live "King" Dirk Nowitzki. No Lebron your not the king. Dirk is sitting on the throne!

Yep wl, that was a statement made by King Dirk last night. Dallas won't go down without a fight, beating one of the premier teams in the NBA.

I was looking in on some of the NBA blogs after King Dirk's subpar game the night before and the DWF's were saying how Nowitzki sucked. I'm glad he came back last night and crammed it right back in the DWF's faces by beating OKC.

It's been an amazing season King Dirk is having! I hope he continues to play for another 5 or 6 years! I think he's got it in him!

Thank you white lightning for reminding us of the greatness of Nowitzki.

The Suns are playing the Wizards. Goran Dragic has 14 points at the half while on the other side of ball, Gortat has 13 points. It has to be hard for Gortat to be playing against his former team where he really wanted to finish his career. I'm just glad he is still starting.

Minnesota just got under way.

Matthew Dellavedova has been one of the pleasant surprises this year. After going undrafted and hearing all the typical "he's not athletic enough" nonsense that Whites always get labeled, I thought he had no shot. I give Cleveland credit for giving him a chance and now he's paying them back by becoming a key contributing rotation player.

I hope Cleveland sneaks into the playoffs now that they start Hawes and give good minutes to Tyler Zeller, Dellavedova and Verejao off the bench. However they'd have to bump either Atlanta or Charlotte. Atlanta starts Kyle Korver and Pero Antic with Mike Muscala getting some minutes off the bench. Charlotte starts McRoberts with Cody Zeller and Luke Ridnour as reserves. As long as someone, anyone, in the East can knock off the black Heat and Pacers.

Mr MVP Kevin Love has a triple double at the end of the 3rd quarter as the Twolves are leading the Lakers by around 30 points! Wow is this guy amazing. Love has 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists! :icon_eek: Nikola Pekovic finally returns after a very long layoff and he has 26 points as well. Great game but we needed this a long time ago. Still happy to see them having fun out there. Even Nash has been playing for the Lakers when he was supposed to be finished for the season. Good to see.

Goran "the dragon" Dragic is torching the Knicks on national tv tonight. He has 18 points in the first half. One of the top 5 point guard in the nba and we all know he got robbed by not being nominated for the NBA All Star Game. No doubt Dragic is an all star. Love this guy! Let's go Suns! :flame:

The Suns destroyed the Knicks behind 32 points and 4 assists by Dragic. Plumlee added 11 points himself. At one point, T.Chandler took a cheap shot at Dragic and he had to leave the game for a while. Goran it tough though and he cannot be stopped.

NBA leaders in double/doubles this season......

1. Love, MN. 57/68 GP. The NBA MVP is in the top 5 in scoring, rebounding and D/D's!
12. Vucevic, OR. 35/55 GP. 35 D/D's in only 55 games, could be around 3rd or 4th if not for an injury.
13. Lee, GS. 33/66 GP. Averages almost a D/D each game.
15. Gortat, WA. 31/71 GP.
17. P. Gasol, LAL. 30 in only 59 games played!
25. Hawes, CLE. 24/72 GP. Started the season hot, but has cooled over the last 2 months!
26. Pekovic, MN. 23/52 GP. Another one that should be higher, but has missed 20 games to injury.
34. Valanciunas, TO. 20/71 GP.
35. Kanter, UT. 19/72 GP.

Other players of note with at least 10 D/D's include: Bogut, GS. 13, Rubio, MN. 12, and Miles Plumlee, PHX. with 11.

Another disappointing Minnesota loss. This time at the hands of Brooklyn. Oh well, hopefully we'll get to see a lot of Plumlee in the playoffs.

Brooklyn has now won 14 of their last 19 games!

After a great half by Nikola Vucevic going 8-10 with 18 points, he only took 3 shots the entire second half. I guess the brothas didn't want him going too crazy and kept him from getting the ball!

top performances thus far this evening.....

Vucevic, 22/10/4 ast./ 2 blks.
Valanciunas. 20/9
Kanter, 18/12
Hayward, 16/9 ast.
Love, only 14/9/3 ast.
Mason Plumlee, 13/8
Pekovic, 13/6
Rubio 12 assists
Hawes, 13/5

Still to play Golden State, Memphis, and Phoenix.
