Detroit tied their series against the Yankees' today. It's probably better that the Yankees' get challenged "a little bit."

Milwaukee is looking dangerous, leading Arizona by a 9-4 margin in the 7th inning, so they could have a 2-0 series lead soon.

As I recall, The Rays and Cardinals were the two whitest teams at the start of the year.

Nice win by Texas over Tampa (in a game that David Price started). I would like Texas to close-out Tampa in 4 games, but this series would appear to have 5 games written on it. Tampa is definitely dangerous..

Other than in the series opener, Ryan Howard has been awful. In the Game 4 loss (to Edwin Jackson of all people), he was 0-4 with 3 strikeouts.

The Evil Empire is eliminated!! Don Kelly hit a HR off of Ivan Nova.

I much prefer to watch the Tigers' Whiter starting pitching compared to the "Sabathia/Nova/Garcia" Yankees. The Yankees' also have a dark lineup, with whining Grandy, Jeter, Cano, A-Rod, Martin.

Detroit -vs- Texas should be a fun series, and the consequences should not be dire.

Carpenter with a gem to defeat his good friend Halladay. Cardinals advance to face the Brewers in the NLCS.
And yet another black drama queen overplays an injury, deflecting attention from his failure, and ruining the celebration for the opposition.

It was a nice Cardinal win! I was checking out this thread for the first time to give you some credit, Riddlewire. You said way back there that the Cards would be fine and you were right, even though they were so close to missing the wildcard!

For the media, this was the season of the African-American slugger, and they wanted it capped-off with their "Dream World Series match-up" of the NYY against Philadelphia.

They wanted to continue to praise Grandy for hitting HRs - just barely over the right field fence - in the Yankees' baby Ballpark.. You know it, I know it! We were supposed to watch the "MVP" on display in all his grandeur...

Now, what are our memories?

--Another horrible postseason for A-Rod and Ryan Howard. Only 3 hits for Philly in Game 5, 2 of them from Victorino.

--Everyone seeing C.C. Sabathia look like a super-obese monster, that will likely be in decline. Few African-Americans remaining in the AL postseason. Not only because the Yankees' were eliminated, but Tampa's B.J. Upton, David Price and Desmond Jennings also.

Detroit pretty much only has Delmon Young who has played well for them; Austin Jackson is non-existant...

Yippeee! Those evil negro loving bastards are done for the year!

And it ended on an AROD strikeout! :)

Who are we rooting for in the AL? I mostly follo the NL so am not familiar with the other league as much.

The Cardinals are probably the whitest team in baseball. They didn't have a single negro at the start of the year, but now they have several on the team. I'm still mad about them trading Rasmus for a bunch of ********, but the team is still mostly white.

Blacks on the team are John Jay who plays CF since they traded Rasmus, SP Edwin Jackson, and a couple of relief pitchers.

The Brewers seem to have a lot of blacks. I can't stand the media worship of the tub of lard negro "Prince" Fielder.

I really like Ryan Braun though, he's a great player. You don't hear the media glorifying him like they do for the nonwhite 'stars'.

Texas is much-Whiter than Detroit, and they are the Whitest team in the postseason.

And, they were probably Whiter than Tampa, because, technically, Johnny Damon is mixed (and there are different views on Longoria and why he's in multiple commercials).

It's being reported that an MRI revealed that Howard's achilles' was indeed ruptured.

Texas wins a rain-plagued Game 1!

I thought the rain was going to throw a wrench in the Rangers..

Yeah - Texas v. Cardinals is the one to cheer for. Both teams are very fair to white athletes.

I watched the Texas-Detroit game tonight. Not much to choose from race wise.

Texas started 5 whites and 5 blacks (including 4 black Hispanics). They also have a black manager.

Detroit started 4 whites, 4 Hispanics and 2 blacks (including a black Hispanic). One of the Hispanics (Avila) is very white looking.

Maybe a slight edge to Texas but neither team is all that great racially (unless the Rangers played some black subs tonight).

The Cardinals seemed to be the whitest team when I saw them earlier in the year.

I saw the lineup card for Texas hours before the game started, and it was different because some guys weren't performing.

--Mitch Moreland got benched because he was horrible in the postseason.

--And, it looks like they started Endy Chavez over David Murphy. Temporary, as Chavez was 0-3?

Texas usually only starts 3 Afro-Carribeans (Andrus, Cruz and Beltre). When one evaluates them, there largely aren't "scary." Elvis Andrus is generally overrated, and, while Nelson Cruz came up huge in the Game 2 win, he had a disappointing regular season. Adrian Beltre is the best of the bunch, but the MSM might be going "overboard" here, too.

The recap: http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/gametracker/recap/MLB_20111011_TEX@DET

"Texas started 5 whites and 5 blacks (including 4 black Hispanics). They also have a black manager."

My guess is, you meant to say 5 hispanics? And, you classified Torrealba, from Venezuela, as an "other" rather than black? From this picture, I can understand why:

http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/players/playerpage/21717/yorvit-torrealba

Makes sense.

Texas has a superstar in Josh Hamilton, and they have a good player in Mike Napoli. Michael Young has struggled this year, but he's had a good MLB career. Go Texas!

The Tigers are without thier best White player-Brennen Bosch who is out for the season with an injury. All their big bats are carribeans, Jackson is the lone afroamerikan. Their pitching starters are white, the set up and closer are carribeans. Because of injuries they play Inge, Rayburn, Kelly, and Dirks a lot, without the injuries they would look like the national team of the Domincan Republic.

Michael Young had a great year this year. I had him on my fantasy team. Young hit over .330, had over 100 rbi's, a lot of doubles and had over 200 hits for the 1st time in several years. Young did all this while playing at nearly every position on the diamond as Beltre took his 3B spot and Young's bat was to valuable to keep on the bench.

Cards take a 2-1 lead in the series. Go Cards!

Bottom of the 9th, 4-3 game, 2 outs, 1-2 count, Brewers down to their last strike, and the cameraman cuts to negro "Prince" Fielder in the dugout.

What is Fielder doing when it's down to the final out and his team is on the cusp of losing an important playoff game? He's got a big goofy smile, laughing and joking with a teammate, not even watching the game. And looked like he could care less they were about to lose.

The Cards are very white. I could not get a count but it seemed at least 6-7 whites were in the batting rotation.

Texas looked a bit whiter last night as well (6 whiteys, I think).

Texas-St. Louis would be a somewhat white-friendly affair.

Detroit has taken the momentum I fear..

The Brewers' showed nice fight to even the NLCS on the road. Props to Randy Wolf for getting the W. That absolutely was a must-win game for Milwaukee.

With Greinke facing Garcia next, this is a reenergized series that has a good chance of going 7 games.
